WednesdayWalk - Walks in Baden Baden
Hi, Steemit!!!
I propose to take a short walk through the small German town of Baden Baden. In this city there is a casino with a long history. It's called Kurhaus. Near it there is a small but pleasant park.
There are tables with chairs and soft pillows of purple cove. On the tables an inscription inviting to rest.
On both sides of the park there are boutiques of leading brands. Prices are high, so we did not go inside.
There is also a tourist center, where you can take a map of the city and get the information you need.

To the left of this avenue is the theater. Very nice building!
Near this park there is horse parking :) From here depart the carriages harnessed by beautiful horses for a tour of the city. We did not go by ourselves, but we often saw how others go. The very famous casino Baden Baden is located to the right of the park avenue. We will definitely walk there next time.

I did visit Baden Baden once, and did see soem nice parks, but I do not remember a casino nor this park which is so charming, love the balloons and horse statues especially gives such a warm atmosphere tot he park

It's amazing that you did not see the casino there. it can be said historical sight of the city. it has existed for several centuries and even during the Second World War it did not suffer. pleasant evening to you!!!!
I perhaps worded it wrong I did see the casino I am sure but never went into it r walked around that area
we were not inside the building either, but we read that it was very beautiful there. you can pay for the entrance and there will make a tour of the casino to you. but I do not remember how much it costs
Do you know why it's called Baden Baden. We live in Switzerland and when we drive to the Netherlands there is a sign Baden Baden. It always was so confusing! I thought that somebody made a mistake but then I understood that it's really the name! Thank you for taking me on a tour there! I always wanted to see this town because of its name! :)
there really are several cities with that name. so as not to get confused, people started talking about Baden in Baden (this is the name of the area in which he is located). so there was a double name that distinguishes this city from the same cities but in other countries :)
Now I got it! Thank you for the explanation! Yes, there is Baden in Switzerland too..

Lovely walk! Wasn't Baden Baden a spa town too? Does the horse have some significance?
you're right!!! it really is a resort town and horses are not for nothing. but I'll talk about this in the next posts :)
