Wednesday Walk

It's time for another #WednesdayWalk, a tag created by my friend @tattoodjay to encourage people to get out of their home or office, take a short walk, and share their experience in pictures. Like last week, I set out from home. And, like last week, I had my 50 mm prime lens and kept the aperture "wide open" at f/1.8...maybe I should start a new tag - #wideopenwednesday!

But, this week I wasn't chasing Pokemon, I was going to get breakfast. I started out looking down at this fallen leaf:

Then, I moved my gaze up to appreciate these flowers:

Perhaps inspired by my friends @pixelfan and @melinda010100 who have encouraged us to "look up" in an effort to raise the price of crypto, I took some more #lookingup pictures.

After eating breakfast at Panera, nothing as healthy as this soup though, I headed home.

This shot is a macro of a bud on a tree branch that had the reflected sun behind it, coming off the headlamp of a car in the Target parking lot. i thought it made a cool halo:
