Wednesday Walk - A Walk in the City of Bangkok !!
Hi everyone here we are for another beautiful #wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay today i been Wednesday is my day of work and i had decided to go for a walk in the city i actually needed to head to a shopping mall call Pantip Plaza.
It was already after 2 pm i had been playing around on Steemit all morning answering comments so i needed to get out of my computer chair and make my way to the city i needed to get to Pantip Plaza cause i actually needed to buy a 1 TB Backup for all my photos my computer was out of room.
The public transport system in Bangkok city i love if you were to drive from my place it would take you one hour and a bit and longer in peak hour to reach the city which is 5 km from my place but the Sky Train less then 20 minutes and your in the heart of the city and the best part as you get of the Sky Train you have walkways above the busy roads that will take you all around the major shopping complexes in the city.
So taking the Sky Train when you get of at most station around the city you have all these above the road walkways that we lead you into all the major shopping malls so you can walk through the shopping malls have a cool down with the air-cons and come out at the other end of the shopping mall and connect to another walkway how convenient.
These walkways are not only safe but you can stop at anytime enjoy the views take some photos without having the worry of getting run over by traffic imagine trying to cross them roads..lol
After getting of the Sky Train i had already walked about 30 minutes along these walkways so i decided to stop at this new shopping complex that had just been completed it seemed to have some good coffee shops in there and it was worth checking out.
After having my coffee it was going to be another 20 minute walk along these walkways that would take me to Pantip Plaza so of i go again by way that was a nice coffee and a nice Market Plaza a great complex with lots of glass attracting some great reflection.
And into Pantip Plaza we are now this is a 8 level building with every piece of technology you even want from computers , mobile phones , cameras , computer games and the list goes on and also has repair shops for all these gadgets in this plaza.
After walking around this plaza for a bit such a interesting building i got what i came for my 1 TB Backup i left the building and stared my walk back to the Sky Train.
But this time i decided to walk the pathways along the side of the roads as it was later afternoon and you get a lot of vendors setting up little interesting stores like this one.
And these little Tuk Tuk's made out of all different brand soft drink and beer cans i collect so there was a couple here i didn't have so i had to get them and all them super heroes are made from wire amazing work ..yeah :)

I found out these young girls were waiting on a Thai superstar singer to arrive and entertain them.
And finally after that interesting walk through the heart of Bangkok city i was back at the Sky Train station ready to go home after a 4 hour walk around this beautiful city of Bangkok.

ITs great they have those elevated walkways so you can avoid the hustle and bustle of traffic and thnks for sharing with us the views as you walked along
Hads Pantip PLaxa been there for a long time, the name sounds familiar and I think it may have been the one I went to a couple of times when stopping off there and wanting to get some electronic items

Yeah you are right Pantip Plaza has been there for as long as i know about 20 years i have know it to be there they have just renovated the whole building.
Love them little Tuk Tuk models everyone wants to steal them from me all the time...lol :)

I have to be honest you would have to watch me if I visited I would also be tempted to steal one if the model Tuk Tuks 😂
Yeah i am sure it hasn't changed spots it's still there and for you my friend i would let you have a couple of my Tuk Tuks if you really like them i can FedEx a couple or so to you no problem :)
Thats coolto know and my wife would not be happy if I added to my collection of things from around the world, when we are meant to be cleaning out stuff this year and downsizing before our move hopefully next year so thanks for the offer but i better say no at least till after we settle somewhere else ;)
