Bricks and walls

Bricks are one of the building materials for making walls. Bricks are made of clay that is fired until it turns reddish. As technology advances, the use of bricks has decreased over time. The emergence of new materials such as gypsum or processed bamboo, currently tends to be preferred because it has a cheaper price and also looks more beautiful architecturally. However, there are still many people who prefer bricks compared to other materials. Bricks have proven to be more durable, stronger, cheaper, and easier to obtain. In addition, red bricks also make the room in the house cooler, the walls are not easily cracked, and are fire resistant. Red brick walls have exotic colors and a natural impression so they are often used as adhesive bricks to create walls that look 'industrial'.

Ordinary bricks. Ordinary bricks have an uncertain surface and color. This brick is also usually used for walls using mortar (cement mixture) as an adhesive. This type of brick is often referred to as red brick. Face brick or exposed. This brick has a neater surface and has a uniform color and pattern so that the price is also more expensive than ordinary bricks. In addition to being used as walls, exposed bricks are also used as wall coverings and decorations. As the name implies, these bricks are made from a mixture of sand and lime in a ratio of 1:8. In the manufacturing process, water is pressed into the material to form a solid brick. These bricks are used on walls that are submerged in water, which require a type of brick that is very strong and not easily porous.
