This is the last part of "Walk With Me- Watch the Park Bloom." Part One can be found HERE, Part 2 can be found Here, and Part 3 can be found HERE.
I went back to the park another month later which was the end of July and everything was in full bloom, and the butterflies and insects were flying. I was taking a photo of the Clouded Sulphur butterfly and caught this incoming Monarch in flight.
The Joe Pye Weed was in full bloom. I love the mauve color of these flowers.
The petals were gone on this coneflower but the Red Admiral butterfly didn't care.
The Red Admiral butterfly flew over to this Bee Balm.
And then it flew on my shirt which was the highlight of my day. Looks like it is was testing to see if the flowers on my shirt were real.
This is a Silvery Checkerspot butterfly.
Here are some of the coneflowers with the petals still on them.
This Cicada Killer Wasp was a fan of the coneflowers too.
I was happy to catch this Cicada Killer Wasp in flight, even though it is a blurry photo. They sure do fly fast.
It is time to leave the park and I hope you enjoyed the walk.

All of these photographs are absolutely gorgeous. Great job, @whatisnew!
Thanks so much for your kind words and welcome to Steemit James! Thanks for stopping by! : )
Howdy whatisnew! on second thought maybe we should call you Butterfly! I don't think you can change your username but you can open another account. Those are some really nice butterfly shots Butterfly!
Butterfly?!?! LOL! Thanks again for your kind words Sundance! : )
haha! howdy Butterfly! am like Sundance in some respects, like gun handling. But I never robbed anyone. At least not intentionally.
Is Butterfly too frilly of a nickname?
It seems to me that you are a wanna-be Sundance, except I know you wouldn't rob anyone.
I like Butterfly for a nickname. : ) I am even going to have a butterfly day here on Steemit when my rep turns 60.
Howdy again Butterfly! I think that's a wonderful nickname. A wanna be Sundance? lol..well only in some ways perhaps but I'm too much of a long term thinker to live any kind of lifestyle that he did. Plus I don't like moving so I wouldn't be drifting all over the world like he did.
HaHa! Butterfly. Yes, I meant in some ways because you seemed to admire them. Now I am learning things about you. I like that. : )
They both had such good qualities! And that is so unusual for outlaws to have so many good qualities. One of their qualities is that neither one of them seemed to have any fear of anything. They should have had fear or they may have lived alot longer.
Oh my goodness ❤ @whatisnew!! I just love these
photographs!! Those butterflies are so beautiful!
So mice to see some green and pretty things!!!
Bring it on my friend! 🌷
Thanks @shasta! I just had to post these photos to get me and anyone else out of the wintertime blues. Everything is so brown and bare. Oh, I would love to see a brown bear right now. LOL!
Very enjoyable indeed. So much life and colour in your photos.
Although we haven't really had any winter this year, I'm really looking forward to spring.
Thanks partner! You have no idea how much I am looking forward to spring. There we go again...same thoughts. : )
Great shots of those bugs with wings :-)
Thanks so much Mike for taking all 4 walks with me and commenting. I sure do appreciate it and you! : )
Just threw a vote away on your 8-day-old post. Stupid. Stupid Stupid. Oh, well. This one compensates. Can't believe you let yourself get close to a cicada killer. Those things terrify me. Good shot, despite the speed.
Aw, sorry to hear that you threw a precious vote away. That stings! (I had to use that word because of the cicada killer.) I sure do appreciate this vote and having you walk with me. Those cicada killers are a bit scary because they are so big and fast.
That first picture of the butterfly about to do what looks like a bird dive is amazing, great snap @whatisnew
HaHa! I thought it was going to hit me in the face but I was determined to get a photo of it in flight, and was not about to move. There are 2 things I always try to get photos of; my subjects face and anything in flight. You can just imagine how happy I was to get this one. : )
