Vertical Walk Instead Of Horizontal.....The Trip To The Port
The WalkWithMe tour took me to Port Canaveral. There is a museum there (shown above) which details the history of the area including Kennedy Space Center and the military presence. This structure was only build a few years ago and comes in at 7 stories. It provides a wonderful view of the entire port from a lookout point.
Being up so high and close to the ocean, it was rather windy out on the lookout deck so it was tough to get pictures that were clear. However, one thing I learned is Disney is the only cruise line ever to have its own terminal that nobody else uses. We were fortunate to have one of their ships in port today.
Today's walk was more vertical than horizontal. If you ever get to the Orlando-Melbourne area, I suggest you stop by the port and spend an afternoon there. The history is amazing and the views very scenic.

I like that building too, very cool. The modern architecture in Denver looks like the building fell over like building blocks (the Denver Art Museum). Apparently people get vertigo on the inside of it too!

It is a fantastic structure for sure. I am impressed by what the port did. For an area lacks the scenic views that are commonplace for your area, it is nice to get something a bit different.
