Was defeated in a run for Illinois state legislature at 22years
Failed in business at 23years
Lost his wife at 25years
Had nervous breakdown at 26years
Was defeated in a run for Illinois House speaker at 28years
Defeated in a run for nomination for US Congress at 33years
He was defeated again as Congress man at 38years
Rejected for land officer position at 39years
Defeated in a run for US Senate at 44years
Defeated in a run for nomination for US vice president at 46years
Defeated in a run for Senate again at 48years
Elected US president at age 50 years

Change is a nature of life, but challenge is an aim of life, so you have to challenge the change, not change the challenges. Because, sometime future can give you more than your lost things
