What is Vegas City
Vegas City is one of the largest districts within Decentraland (a virtual reality metaverse) which secured nearly 7000 LAND parcels as contributed by Decentraland’s community members. You can find out more about Decentraland here link to Decentraland!
The Vegas City District has understandably found itself to be one of the most popular within Decentraland, since the potential for: gambling, entertainment, attractions and bright lights are considered to be greatly alluring prospects for an extensive range of audiences.
Project lead James Ashton described #VegasCity as:
“A gigantic VR project: We have 800 land contributors who have contributed to (sic) an area equivalent of about 80 football pitches. Our aim is to set the scene for the evolution of a VR paradise which not only lives up to the stereotypical gamblers hypermarket image that Las Vegas has, but also sets the bar in terms of all round entertainment and hedonism for everybody.”
The Start-Up Proposal
The Vegas City District Board has recently released their first start-up proposal to the district contributors and community members, which on the whole has been very well received.
The Vegas City District has an exceptionally exciting partnership offer from an extremely reputable cryptocurrency investment company. The start-up proposal offers a share of equity for the named investment company whilst still maintaining over 50% of the equity shares to original contributors once Vegas City begins to become profitable.

Popular Vegas City community member and self-professed Discord Troll, @KalebK#0382 enthused:
"I think the casinos and games built in Decentraland and Vegas (City) have the chance be more stunning than anything ‘in real life’ ".
"I am very excited about the future (and) very happy with the Vegas City Board ".
