I was in a commercial bus today and people in the vehicle were talking about happenings in the state. The driver was talking about two dead bodies they found along the road side. He was was the opinion that the two girls he saw were used for money rituals. Saying they found white handkerchiefs on their dead body and the girls looked like they were slept with. So he suggested that they must have used them for rituals.

Another lady who was sitting in the passengers sit heard this and decided to share her own story. She said she also traveled and on her way coming back, she boarded a vehicle. Along the way, she said the person beside her started to ask her what was in her back and she said nothing was in her bag. The person asked another lady in the vehicle the same question and she said it was dollars she had in there.

That was where she started to feel uncomfortable. The people in the vehicle said they have to go to the police station. The lady said she knew a police officer that she could call but they said she sholdnt call yet. The other lady who claimed to have dollars in her bag said the money is cursed that anybody that hears of it will die in the next seven days if a ritual is not performed. The Lady said she requested to alight but they insisted she partakes in the ritual or she would die in the next seven days. She started to panic and had no choice than to comply.

She said they took her to a building that looked like a shrine. There was an herbalist there who said he would be able to revoke the curse but it will cost them a lot. The woman was so scared to the extent that she was stripped of all her belongings. Her jewelries, phone, money all were collected. it was then a person in the vehicle we were raised a question and asked if other people paid money. She said she did not even bother because she was scared of the death threats.

Another person suggested that the people could have used voodoo on her. I was just listening to the whole conversation. i wanted to contribute but the whole people in the vehicle were older than i am and it might be considered rude if i interfered. To me i flt they just played a min trick on her. As a person i do not believe in voodoo but all my friends always say that it is real and some claim that they have experienced it before.

Back to the ordeal the lady was narrating. She said after she gave everything to her, she said they said it was not enough that she had to go and withdraw money from the atm which she agreed. She said when she got to the atm she was not even able to remember her pin due to the fear they have created in her. She said when the people noticed that a security man was suspicious they asked her to leave and like a sheep following a shepherd she entered the car again. At last they went to drop her somewhere far away from where she was heading and told her to go and look for the money or else she would die in seven days. She was not having any money on her and she had to beg her way home. It was when she got home that people she told made her understand that she has been duped.

My question is now, what could have happened?

• is it that they used voodoo on her like in the originals?

OR

• was it just a trick they played on her and it worked?

Another question is those they claim engage in money rituals using human parts, how does they body parts turn into money for them?

As for me i do not believe it was voodoo.
