OMGoodness, yes... it's been HOT here in California as well! I was wondering why it was taking me longer to post an article... you nailed the reason for me- it is the heat draining us of inspiration! I even thought that I needed more substantial food... so cooked a steak, which of course always come out perfect and so I posted about it yesterday.
