The attitude that gets upvotes without proper writing steps
As a 26-day steemit member, I have posted more than 500 posts with nearly reaching 300 followers without high steem power to attract people. I believe people are attracted to follow me because they see how genuine and simple my posts can help them even they don't upvote, they gain ideas for their own benefits.
There were many posts that I used proper writing steps with lots of photographs as suggested by experienced members but often I did not get much upvotes. Majority gets disappointed and just blamed this and that!
I just posted this article and within a short period I got quite a bit of upvotes.

From this post, I realised a trend or a style of writing that many readers like.
Write a post with attitude that readers are convinced as well. We are not writing a book so we can just forget about any conventional writing style. Write your thoughts like nobody's business and everyone will read because there is strong emotion.
Write a post that others will ponder over and over again.
OMG... So many upvotes out of the blues.
I had one post with sudden more than $20 upvotes just to share my experience and feeling about my first trading in cryptocurrency exchange.
Let's take a youtube guy, Vincent Briatore, that I watched quite often. This guy speaks with confidence and he has his own attitude that does not really bother about what you think about him as long as he is sure of what he is talking about. He shares his transparent cypto experience as well as his personal life like nobody's business. He gets high viewers.
Is there something you have that nobody has it and you can speak with confidence that cause readers to think critically especially in steemit or cryptocurrency. Let your don't bother attitude arise and let others notice where they have the same emotion like you!
I post lots of straight to the point posts even without high upvotes, I get lots of followers within a short time in steemit as I post regularly and genuinely. People can see your heart and attitude.
Don't fake it and don't be a fake user as well.
Write until you can be trusted and write until you are well-known.
Use a good title and write your attitude and thought-provoking ideas forcefully into it.
Be yourself and don't need to be copycat!

It is not meant to tell you this is the secret of success but you can be an idea for you to do further research to improve and find your own writing style.
Agreed, formatting and photo's might make your post look nice, but it makes no difference to the amount of votes you get. It's all about the subject and content.

Authenticity is the key to everything. People need and want to feel connected to others. In today's society many people go to on-line sites to connect with others. The problem is that many people's posts never really let others get a glimpse at a real person.
Many people post pictures or updates on social media sites, in an attempt to gain approval from others. But unless you already know the person, it is hard to derive why the picture is meaningful to the person who posted it. Don't get me wrong a picture of a pet can bring a smile to the face of others who like the same kind of animal. But, it doesn't help me to really know the person better. It doesn’t create an emotional connection with person who posted the picture.
There will be times when I post picture of Furball, my amazing dog. Why because he is a family member, who is important to me and reminds me I am loved. Every time I walk through the door he excitedly rushes over to greet me. He always manages to bring a smile to my face. Even as I write about him, I am smiling and feel a lightness in my heart
