Once again the menace of lack of Gun control has been proven to us after two people were shot to death and almost a dozen others wounded by Gunshots before the gunslinger shot himself dead.

Yesterday Sunday the 26th, another Gun violence stunned unsuspecting gamers and game fans in Jacksonville, Florida during a video game tournament. Fans and gamers were enjoying the contest both online and at the gaming bar that shared space with a Pizzaria. Eyewitnesses at the game tournament thought it was Balloons popping until louder bangs flooded the Bar as people were scampering for safety.

24 years old David Katz was the alleged suspect, the Baltimore man used deadly weapons believed to range from a handgun to a high caliber pistol, killing himself after shooting two people to death and several others sustaining gun-wounds at the gaming tournament.

Detectives and news media had stated that three people were killed in the shooting; the two victims include a high school football player who likes to play the virtual version of his sport and a past one time winner of the same tournament. A case ruled as a double murder and a suicide is still currently under investigation and assumed to be without motives.

The mental state of the shooter is not ascertained yet, but just nine gunshots killed two people and himself with a little less than a dozen injured. Spiral effects of deadly weapons carried uncontrollably could not be overstated as more lives keep wasting since over a couple of years after a mass shooting has become a crazy affair in schools, concerts, Parking lots, Gaming Tournaments and so on.

Unfortunately, Gun control bill passing seems to be lagging and it has created more fiascos just like the victims each of these weapons of mass destructions had wiped out.

This recent shooting took place around 1:34 pm, in broad daylight at Jacksonville landing; the same place President Trump had held a rally back in 2015 when he was still a running candidate. Whether the suspect was under any form of mind-control or maybe its just some random acts of madness, nobody knows.

Our prayers and well wishes to the families of the two victims, and also wishing the injured ones speedy recovery from the gunshots and may we not fall victim to stray bullets, Amen.
