The Andrarchy Show - Ep. 1: How To Deal With a Psychotic Break (feat. @churdtzu)steemCreated with Sketch.

A Steemit-Powered Interview Show

In the first episode of The Andrarchy Show I interview @churdtzu about his psychotic break, though the conversation (as is usually the case when @churdtzu and I talk) covered a wide swathe and variety of topics. For example, did you know that psychiatry and neoliberal economics have a lot in common? If you want to find out what, you'll have to watch the video :)

The End of the Testing Phase

This will be the first of many episodes of The Andrarchy Show which I have decided to make the primary platform for my video content. Up until now I have been experimenting heavily on the steemit platform in an attempt to precisely gauge what you guys like, but now the time has come to get organized and give you consistent and high quality content that can also appeal to a broader audience. But to accomplish that I need your help. I believe with your feedback, input, and insight we can make this a great show period, not just "good enough." I want to show the world that we, The People, can make content that is every bit as good, better even, than the content churned out by mainstream media platforms and outlets.

The Intro Video

The first video below is an intro video that delves into further detail about what I'm trying to do with this show and why I hope you (the steemit community) will give me your support. If you'd like to skip the appetizer and head directly to the main course, the interview, that video is also below along with an mp3 of the interview.

Only The Beginning

Because I am doing everything myself, and because I want the content to be as digestible as possible, I intentionally organized the interview into approximately 10 minute segments so that I can start editing and publishing as quickly as possible while maximizing the quality. I will only publish segments that I think are interesting, fortunately my conversations with @churdtzu are always fascinating and this was no exception.

Introducing The Andrarchy Show

Ep. 1: The Andrarchy Show

Sharing

The video features a steemit logo in the top right corner so feel free to share the video, as opposed to the entire steemit post, depending on what you think will make it more likely to be viewed based on the context of the share. I tried my best to make this both interesting and broadly appealing, so I hope you'll consider sharing it on social media.

YouTube Views

Nowadays YouTube views and twitter followers carry a lot of weight and since YouTube seems to group every Steemit view together as only one view, please open the video in YouTube to help get that view count up if you want to help out the show. You can also follow me on twitter @andrarchy which could help me gain access to higher profile individuals and better evangelize for Steemit.

Great Job Man!
I think your onto something. I have been following both you and @churdtzu for a while now and feel you both put out consistently quality content that has real value. You seem to have your shit together and have skills and experience with editing and presentation of media.
All projects take time and building any kind of "brand" also takes a lot of time and tweaking.
Thankfully here on steemit you can learn and get paid as you go!
Wishing you success in your ventures!

Thanks for the support!

Your Welcome!
Keep up the good work!

Good tip on the YouTube viewing numbers- I opened them in YouTube.

I loved your analysis of what the doctor described as a "psychotic break." It was actually his mind having this epiphany that reality was inconsistent with his belief system up to that point, and so he started testing every aspect of his reality, including some things that maybe he should have taken for granted. There's something about that that sounds right to me ;).

Loved the intro....and loved the first episode...
Will be waiting for more in the future! :D

I noticed that problem with the view count on YouTube as well. I got 45 upvotes on my first video post on Steemit, and looking at the stats on YouTube, it was showing less than 10 views total. Strange.
