Dengvaxia Cases Moving Forward - Charges For Sanofi Philippine Employees But Why Not For Executive Board?

in #vaccines5 years ago (edited)

The forced vaccination of hundreds of thousands of Philippine children with Dengvaxia was halted after the children started dying. I have been covering this unfolding case as it has developed and now we can finally see that charges are being leveled against employees of the manufacturer Sanofi Pasteur?

Why do the charges stop at the Philippine employees of Sanofi and not continue up to the head office and those who made the most profits from these deaths?

As they plan to roll out Dengvaxia around the world it behooves us to analyze this current development and see if we can spot the chain of financial corruption and where it leads.

The Chain Of Profits = The Chain Of Corruption!

After a proposed roll out of 1 million vaccinations to school children in the Philippines the project was halted after the children started dying. It turned out that those children who had previously not had dengue fever were much more likely to have strong reactions if they contracted dengue after having the Dengvaxia vaccine for dengue.

Firstly that doesn't make sense - after being vaccinated for dengue they can now get dengue? Secondly as most of the vaccines were given to children a much higher proportion would not have had dengue than if the vaccine had been given to adults. Finally the manufacturer Sanofi claims that the vaccine had been in development for 20 years - how could they then not have realized this dangerous fact.

The drive for profits is a powerful motivator to lie, deceive and corrupt. Perhaps there are other frightening driving forces such as a reduction in populations in the developing world and trialing the vaccine on unsuspecting populations.

In many of my analysis of corruption in the health industry I am always calling for accountability. If the bosses and major profiteers of Dengvaxia had to face the possibility of sitting for years in a Philippine prison it may cause them to think twice before force vaccinating these unsuspecting children.

Sanofi makes getting these images so easy with their rubbish PR. Responsible for all these deaths - Dengvaxia = Disgrazia!

Accountability Creeping Closer To Home...

Finally the Quezon City Regional Trial Court has found sufficient basis to take action on the lawsuit against officers of Dengvaxia maker Sanofi Pasteur Inc and distributor Zuellig Pharma Corporation. The case was filed by the family of Abbie Hedia, who died in February 2018 allegedly after receiving the Dengvaxia vaccine.

The Sanofi officers named are: Carlito Realuyo, Conchita Santos, Jazel Anne Calvo, and Pearl Grace Cabali. All of whom operate for Sanofi locally in the Philippines. However that only addresses the local issue and not the real culprits behind the scheme, namely the CEO and other senior executives and shareholders in Switzerland who profited handsomely from this scheme. Why only go after the local employees and not the owners and profiteers? Who are they?

As I have written before the CEO of Sanofi Pasteur should really be one of the first but by no means the last to have to answer in criminal court for these deaths. Switzerland should not guard these guys. The CEO of Sanofi Pasteur is currently Olivier Brandicourt but the entire list of Sanofi's Executive Committee is here. They all bear some responsibility for these deaths in my mind along with those who really own Sanofi.

I wrote a previous post Naming & Shaming Sanofi's Executive Vice President David Loew which can be found here.

An Unexpected Benefit - Falling Vaccination Rates

I wish to state here that in theory I am not opposed to vaccinations however I believe that the concept could be made much safer that it is currently being used in practice. It is only natural that more parents in the Philippines are choosing not to vaccinate their children. They love their children and are frightened that vaccinations may harm or kill their children like they witnessed in the Dengvaxia vaccine.

The vaccination rate in the Philippines plummeted last year from 70% to 40%. This is only natural. I know many people will disagree with what I am about to say, especially people who live in places like Australia with its "no jab, no play" legislation that bars children from going to school if they have not been vaccinated. However I know many children, mostly from enlightened parents living on Bali who were never vaccinated for anything, they are some of the most amazing and healthy young people I know. That is even with living in Indonesia.

My personal position is that the concept of vaccination is sound but that the practice is highly questionable and the rise in autism and other afflictions combined with the number of deaths from vaccines convince me that we need to be very cautious of vaccines. The potential for greater harm than benefit is there and I would not personally vaccinate children until they have reached puberty and their immune systems are fully developed.

Dengvaxia Gets FDA Approval

Dengvaxia is the world's first dengue vaccine. It has just been approved by the FDA in the US but with some conditions to mitigate deaths from the vaccine. This approval has been granted even though former president Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III and several Cabinet secretaries were charged during 2018 with plunder, malversation and graft in the Philipines for involvement in the Dengvaxia program.

Who is running these approval processes? To my eyes it seems as if Sanofi tested Dengvaxia on the poor children of the Philippines and now that the risks have been identified they can cover themselves better and roll it out in the US territories.

This is sadly an approach to vaccinations we have seen time and again. Test it on the poor people and then bring it to the wealthier countries. This is done with the hope of reducing the amount of damage payments and lawsuits that the company must bear and improves its profits.

I will continue to follow this story as it progresses!

Great post - personally I think vaccinations are 100% scam and do one thing only - kill off the masses - but either way, exposing the evil scum behind them helps reduce the number of children being poisoned by the things, so it's all good.

Yay! It's always lovely to see you commenting on my posts!

I agree with you completely but when I discuss this topic with people I have to admit that the concept of eradicating diseases is conceptually a good idea. However how many of those diseases are man made? Are we trying to reduce the impact of naturally balancing processes on our planet? The marketing material sounds good but the reality is a lot worse.

I personally agree with you and believe they are trying to reduce our population and vaccines are just one arrow in the quiver of approaches to population reduction they fire at us! I'm never getting another vaccine and I wouldn't vaccinate my children!

Lovely to see you commenting again thanks buddy! 😉

And it's great to see you posting. I am doing very little on Steemit these days and think the platform is in its death throws.

My friend @dreemit has been encouraging me to get on Palnet and thinks that is the future. I haven't done anything yet, but hope she is right.

I feel I am forced to remain here because of friends I do not want to lose, however, as soon as HF21 goes into effect and the curator/author rewards are altered to 50-50%, I will be setting all my story/poem posts to Deny Payment. I am also doing this because of the flagging. I have seen too many vicious flaggers who flagged small posters for the fun of it, for me to see any good in it as it works at this time. I do not know if refusing any upvote rewards also stop all downvote 'rewards' - I guess I will have to wait and see.

In the meantime, I signed up at PocketNet and I must admit I am impressed by the quality of posts there.

Just to flog a dead horse, I have made a number of posts about the evils of vaccinations (as they are used now - in my childhood, more than 60 years ago, they never seemed to harm anyone). The result of my posting? I got flagged - heavily flagged on some of them. Just as someone calling his account 'trashit' gleefully flags posters...but the person who does so is not a long-time member of steemit, has a low rep and sp, but has been delegated an SP of about 25,000

I can imagine what a miserable soul it must be, never rejoicing that it helped a poster (a human being) but that it did its share to destroy a few each day.

It might actually turn out to be good that steemit dies. Let the curators upvote/flag each other, while those of us who have something to say (whether we are good at it or not) carry on where the atmosphere is conducive to us growing as writers and people.

@jockey, I have reposted this post at two groups in GAB, with a special mention of the comment by @gwiss. I hope many take the trouble to read, so that even more people are aware and more kids are saved.

Thanks to both of you for trying so hard to fight for the world children.
