I heard something about that at work one day I think? I don't watch much news anymore honestly. It comes at me without trying it seems nowadays haha did someone raise a buncha $ and then flew on the charity or something like that?
In this lobby, will there be T.P.? For my bunghole?
Yeah. Every week they have a draw. The winner of the draw gets to pick one card out of the deck. If they pick the Ace of spades they win the prize pool (I think50/50 with the church). The game went on for 10 months. They were down to 8 cards left but the crowd each week was affecting the area. It wasn't designed for so much traffic.
So before School starts back up next week they wanted to end it. So yesterday they said that they would keep drawing names until a winner. The pot was over 2 million dollars at the start. It ended up at 2.6 million.
Crazy. It wasn't in Halifax it was in St.Johns but it was on the news here so I figured it would be all over the east coast news.
Wow, someone got rich. That's pretty cool and i never heard about it. I bet whoever won could really use that money. Wish it was me haha
I have always wanted to visit Halifax, hope one day I can get there! And newfoundland too!

Yeah it is on my list. Thier trip was pretty last minute. I was bummed that I couldn't go with them.
We are going to head out again in a couple years when Luke is a bit older and do some whale watching in the Saint Lawrence river on the way
