I started the Steem white paper translation because I think that this project is innovative and very useful. Since there is not an italian version yet, I believe that translating the Steem white paper in Italian allows the Steem project to reach more and more Italian people since currently, the number of active italian users are approximately 1000.

I would like to underline that in translating the Steem white paper, some english words like Steem, Steem Power, vesting, feed and others will remain the same.

Furthermore, some sentences will be translated with more appropriate italian words that can give more sense to the white paper's italian version.

Translation Overview

Paragraphs translated this time include how Steem mitigates timing attacks, that is by requiring all conversions request to be delayed for three and a half days. This rule is important because market participants have access to a lot of informations and it is possible that they can benefit at the expense of the community.

It is also explained how to minimize abuse of conversions by allowing users to convert from SBD to STEEM and not the other way round and by deciding how and when to create SBD.

There are also other three paragraphs that elaborate on the topic of interests, the settings of price feeds and the sustainable debt and the ownership ratios.
