Editing Reward Program - Steemit / Utopian.io

Steemit and Utopian both rewards the user with good amount of pay on there posts and content. The rewards comes in the way of SBD or Steem Power by default reward set at 50%SBD and 50% SP in both the platform.

The author needs to choose the reward program at the time of drafting the posts. There are 3 option of reward payout in Steemit, the user need to choose only one:

Whereas there are only 2 rewards option in Utopian.io.

The user need to choose the reward option only once at the time of posting the content. No matter what the option for reward is not going to be changed.

The user either choose SBD to maintain a heavy Raw balance at hand (cash in hand) whereas many users wants to get Steem Power to enhance the voting power.

Currently, there user do not have the privileges of making any changes or and edit in the reward pay. Refer below images from Utopian edit page:

The option of reward once choosen becomes final till the user get the final payout i.e 7 days.

Suggestion
I would suggest to get the user the flexibility of editing the reward pool within a stipulated time frame. The user can edit the Reward similar way they made changes in there content.

Both the platform i.e steemit and utopian.io gives an option of editing. Presently the editing can only be done on the content/text part in steemit, whereas we can edit the images as well alongwith the text in Utopian platform. No further changes were allowed outside it.

Providing the option of editing the reward pay, provides the user to make up there mind to choose the raw cash or steem power as per there need.

As a restriction or put a CHECK against any frequent changes only ONE edit can be allowed on the reward pay.

The user can have the flexibility to make changes within 7 days or within first 3 days of posting.
