GDevelop is an open source software for developing HTML5 and native games without any serious knowledge in programming. Developing a game is as simple as setting up an event; gather your resources and start exploring. There are lot of tutorials available on the Wiki for a beginner (like me) to get started, and you can also find the documentation there also.
You can choose to create platformers, puzzles, shoot 'em up, strategy, 8-bit games and even publish your games to the web, iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and even Facebook Messenger.
This is my third translation report on the GDevelop project. You can check the first and second. It's been interesting working on this particular project as I have the opportunity to try out creating a simple game myself.
Been off my PC for some days, so I couldn't actually proceed with the game creating tutorials. I hope to be back on it next week.
The project's translatable texts are a total of 25312 words and in this session I was able to translate 1411 words making an overall translated 4231 words (16% of the total). The project should be completed in 20 sessions approximately (~17 left).
The main issue I actually faced this session was getting an interpretation that could suit 'simulate' as used in the context of the files. After checking close synonyms, I chose to use the phrase 'fi jọ' which means to replicate or look like something else.
