Suggestions To Add Pop Up Notification Features To Rocket.chat Mobile Application.
Introduction
Rocket.chat is such a wonderful app that i will always encourage most steemian to use, as it happen to be one of my favorite open source project. But there are quite some features that need to be added which are currently left or undone. It is quite surprising to have a messenger application installed on a device without having any notification when you have a new messages. This was when the thought to make a suggestion come into place.
Reasons For Suggestion
After using rocket.chat to access my steemit.chat for quite sometime time i have always been finding it difficult in terms of notification of getting notifications when i have a new message. Which have lead to delay in terms of responding to new messages. The only way i got notified is until i have to open the application, that is when i get notified. Which happens to be too bad for any messenger application. As most messenger application have a pop up push notification which serve as signal for new messages. Below is an example of a push notifications on telegram messenger

There should not just be an automatic push up notification, but users should have ability to select among the range of option to find the one that is comfortable to them.

The above image example show that, i choose to get notification always.
Below is an image example of an enabled notification option available on telegram application.
The last option based on notification is the ability to be able to mute and unmute each group notification, as there are some channel or group which happens to be very active interms of what they are use for. Ability to mute and unmute them for notification will make it easier for users to be able to select certain channel they want for notification.

Conclusion
Having option for notification as suggested above will not only make users to be able to enable and disable notification. But it will also help to encourage more active users in using rocket.chat mobile application. As this happen to be one of the essential features most messenger application user will always like to have.
