Utopian.io: Russian Translation and Proofreading - Contributor report. EN/RU

Often the translation is a routine and monotonous work, but this time I had an original story with the murder, revival of a dead body under another name, and happy end. How it was?

You probably know about Utopian.io, Steem-based platform, that rewards contributors to open source projects.
More than a week ago I started work on the Russian translation for the Utopian-landingpage project. In three days, 52% of the text was translated, and after that this project disappeared from Crowdin.com. It was unexpected for me to see this:

As it turned out, it was a test project and the author created it only to see how Crowdin works, but the translation in general was planned to be done on the GitHub (about which I learned later, reading his blog). I started too early and it was my mistake. Wait, but how about my work?
The next day, another project appeared on Crowd, which translators are working on right now https://crowdin.com/project/utopian. And it did not contain any single line translated by me:-( OOps!

But as it turned out that on Crowdin, as well as on Steem-blockсain, nothing disappears without a trace. @testz and the guys from Crowdin found translation memory (TM) of deleted project and connected it to a new one. That's how the recovered lines looked like, it only remained to confirm them:

Almost all the lines were recovered, not under my name, but the work is saved, and this is more important. Thank you very much, guys!

Next, I continued to work on the Russian translation in the current project, finished the remaining 49% of the translation and made a proofreading. Yep, proofreading of my own text:-)
I met some difficulties when translating strings about GitHub forks, pull requests and merges, because I'm not a coder and not very versed in technical details. These were incomprehensible things for me, and one good guy helped me with this

Зачастую перевод это рутинная и однообразная работа, у меня же в этот раз получилась оригинальная история с убийством, оживлением мертвеца под другим именем, и хеппи ендом. Как это было?

Вероятно, вы знаете об Utopian.io, основанной на Steem платформе, которая вознаграждает вклады в проекты с открытым исходным кодом. Более чем неделю назад я начала работу над российским переводом проекта Utopian-landingpage. За три дня было переведено 52% текста, а после этого проект исчез. Внезапно...

Как оказалось, это был тестовый проект и автор создал его только для того, чтобы посмотреть как работает Crowdin, а сам перевод планировалось делать на GitHub (об этом я узнала позже, прочитав его блог). Я просто рановато начала, и в этом была ошибка.

Подождите, но как же моя сделанная работа! На следующий день появился другой проект на Crowdin, над которым сейчас работают переводчики https://crowdin.com/project/utopian. И в нем не содержалось ни одной переведенной мною строки:-( Опа!

Но как оказалось, на Кроуд, как и на Steem-блокчейне, ничего не пропадает бесследно. @testz и ребята из Crowdin нашли память удаленного проекта и подключили ее к новому. Вот так выглядели восстановленные строки, оставалось только подтвердить их.
Почти все строки удалось восстановить, пускай не под моим именем, но работа спасена, и это самое главное. Большое спасибо, ребята!

Далее я продолжила работу над Русским переводом в действующем проекте, закончила оставшиеся 49% перевода и сделала коррекцию. Ага, собственного текста:-)

У меня возникли некоторые сложности с переводом строчек, касающихся ГитХаба (forks, pull requests, merges), потому что я не кодер и не знакома с такими техническими подробностями. Это были просто какие-то непонятные для меня слова, и один добрый парень помог мне с этим.

Вчера на Утопиан было серьезное обновление, и несколько языков уже добавлено, надеюсь скоро среди них появится и русский.
