Project Details

Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment that executes JavaScript code outside of a browser. Node.js unifies web application development around a single programming language, rather than different languages for server side and client side scripts.

Contribution Specifications

  • Translation Overview
This time, the remaining half of the dgram.md file was translated. This section explains how to use the module dgram as well as its technical aspects. I'm currently translating the rest of the dgram.md and net.md file.

  • Languages
This contribution was translated to Spanish using English as the source language. My experience as an engineer and a translator in past crowdin projects have helped me vastly in this translation.

  • Word Count

A total of 1114 words were translated in the dgram.md file.

Some translated examples in this file:

en:
*When
<0>exclusive</0> is set to <0>false</0> (the default), cluster workers will use the same
underlying socket handle allowing connection handling duties to be shared.
es:

  • Cuando <0>exclusive</0> sea establecida como <0>false</0> (la manera predeterminada), los workers del clúster utilizarán el mismo handle del socket subyacente, permitiendo que las tareas del manejo de la conexión sean compartidas.

en:

  • Instructs the kernel to leave a multicast group at <0>multicastAddress</0> using the
    <0>IP_DROP_MEMBERSHIP</0> socket option.

es:

  • Instruye al núcleo para que deje un grupo de multidifusión en <0>multicastAddress</0> usando la opción del socket <0>IP_DROP_MEMBERSHIP</0>.

'Multicast' is group communication where data transmission is addressed to a group of destination computers at the same time, this is a new term that I've learned in this file, is translated as 'Multidifusión'.
