Amazing Adjustments That Has Happened To My Life since I discovered steemit

I feel honored writing about my life after I found my second love steemit. It's one of those rare moments where you get to share how Steemit has enriched the lives of thousands of steemians. Terry has been the man of the moment, a true Nigerian I must commend, your breed is rare.

Flashback to 2016

After badging my first degree with a high from the Faculty of Agriculture, Obafemi Awolowo University, I decided to be the best I can by trying to survive on my own. I left my father's house and started hustling, I chased ghost works, put my hopes in promises from family and friends, later I fell into the ugly hands of ponzi, I started well with quite a handful sum of money but the story didn't end quite well, I lost hugely.
Battered and bruised, I was barely living, walking dead, so many thoughts clouded my mind, evil and good. I almost lost it all. Lest I forget, I write well when I was in the University, this made me feel I can still write articles, blog...etc. But how do I do this with no back-up (funding)

Steemit was introduced August '17

A very good friend of mine and my irreplaceable roommate during school days @dray91eu brought me the good news of Steemit when we were about doing our clearance exercise, he is a type of guy that talks faster than his words, I barely understood what he was saying cos it looked vague and complicated, I decided to try my luck, I opened an account with Steemit through the lovely and motherly hands of @euronation headed by the most amazing boss I've ever seen @eurogee. It took me a while to be activated, but then I was persistent and always disturbing my friend about the progress of the activation stage, he calmed me down and said soft words of assurance knowing fully well that I write very well. After a couple of weeks, I got here, thanks to @euronation.
Euronation is a whatsapp group of great steemians made up of @eurogee, @ewuoso, @dray91eu, @sweetestglo-eu, @drigweeu, @smyle.

Right from my secondary school days, I do participate actively in article writing contest and now that I'm here, I've been able to explore and exercise my in-born writing skills,
I've wrote quite a handful of posts that are relevant to our social and daily life... More to come this year.
Yay! I've really learnt alot since joining Steemit, I do not only blog, I read very well, at times, it's not always about the money involved, no.

Learning starts from cradle to grave
I learn everyday here and that's one of the life-changing opportunities that's treasured by many but found by a few.

Today, i do not go on the internet to post pictures of my life or poke-nosing about someone else's affair(s), I study very hard by reading articles, google what I do not know, write meaningful things. It has made me view life in a totally different manner.

I will not forget to tell you I've experienced life adjustments in these areas;

• Time management

• Financial freedom

• Knowledge boost

Time

Time they say doesn't wait for nobody, I've wasted few months of my time chasing what is not, within a few months of getting to this platform, my time on the internet has been positively utilized to the maximum. I do surf well and I love playing video games according to my bio, but I hardly play video games or watch the TV cos there's something greater to do with my time (steaming). I now believe that my future lie in the hands of no one except mine. That will make me quote the beautiful words of @surpassinggogle

While they were busy chasing moolah
We own the banks

My time has now been fully devoted to Steemit, I joined @euronation on whatsapp, joined discord, Telegram etc.. What more can I say, I'm more than happily occupied.

Financial freedom

Oh! This is the amazing part where I always love to discuss, decent work must be appreciated with financial boost, that's part of the compensating rewards steemit gives and that's what the masses want to hear. Steemit rewards original works by putting some cash in your pocket, I'm happy I'm boosted financially.

As an agriculturist by certification and an educationist by profession (ask me for more details), I mostly do online research about my work and how I can develop myself so as to stand out among my colleagues, Steemit has helped me to keep on researching, ask more and more till I know.

No knowledge is a total waste

Through constant brainstorming and consultation, I must say I've learnt more than I learnt in school and this must be credited to Steemit.

My hopes were fully restored just over a few months ago after joining this platform. Today, I can proudly say I'm happy I found Steemit.

Now I'm in a beast mode, I pledge to do more this year
