What is really going on. Do we want to know or just go through the motion and tell yourself what were doing is the best thing. Its the right thing, the only thing.
I have an opinion that I have derived at with my own knowledge and experiences. I can back them up with facts and hold my own in any debate. I can stand alone or as a team/group. I can adjust my opinion according to new information I receive. I do not rely on hearsay or conjecture.
How many times have I herd this only to find out that without someone else's opinion they are lost. Look around it is everywhere, with the majority of people. Say the wrong thing that others don't adhere to and you will be called out for what ever reason or name that pops into there small mind.
There are a lot of reasonable people out there. Reasonable people have a flaw that is easy to exploit. That flaw is that they are also tolerant to others rights and opinions. I am not saying that these are bad traits to have, on the contrary I agree with them and fit the mold to a point.
History has taught us a lot about these people. The biggest lesson is that they do have a breaking point. When this point is reached it never ends up well for the other side. Being tolerant and reasonable has a breaking point.

Today I was on a talk show hosted by @steemturner. It is a new community with the majority of its members from Bangladeshi. They self curate each other and have a high level of enthusiasm. It was nice to share a couple of hours with them on their voice discord
Steemit is growing around the world. There is a different economic level of according to the place you are at. Do not underestimate the value of each and every one of them because of this factor. Numbers mean way more then any individual could. These people do not have a lot to give in terms of wealth but what they do have is far greater.
I am going to hit one more Discord. It is the first discord that I entered. It was introduced to me by a friend. I like the people of that discord and I can't claim that I am an outstanding member of it. But I do support the discord and members with all I am able to as often as posible.

LOl you get the whole banner I didn't know how to separate it out. I am still a little new at this stuff that most of you take for granted. Over the past six months I have been learning and developing my computer skills. And Steemit skills what I am better at now but not where I would like to be if that was possible.
Discords and chats are a good way to market you name and keep up with some of the platforms ins and outs. Steemit is not something that the average person can jump in and be successful. For most of us it takes work. And lots of it. Discords can take up a lot of ones time if you fall into the chat only area and stay there.
Another good way to increase your visibility is by taking advantage of the engagement league set up by @abh12345 and @paulag also know as the witness @steemcommunity. They have my witness vote and my support. There are 3 leagues engagement, engagement Indonesia and redfish power up
I highly recommend these. I belong to two of them.

People tend to look at peoples Rep or the value of post payout as if that an indication of the person. I have hinted at this before and will come out and state it outright. If you are doing this you are wrong. I have myself given a person who had a rep score of "0" a vote here and there. I do not go on the trending page looking for a curation reward and I disagree with 90% of those who are there because of their practices. I look at what they bring to the community. That is the important thing. I am here for the long term and will be here when the fast buck makers are gone and my reward will be greater then theirs in the long run

I see this everyday, many friends with this kind of attitude around. My only concern is Steem Power now. It's hard to explain that Reputation is good but nothing to chase on. Well.. probably because with high reputation people will give more attention to seek for upvotes😂 I'd better stay with low reputation friends but fabolous SP like you😊
But I keep mentioning about the increasing of My Reputation score just to compare with my other half. If someone interest on comparing this they'll see.. I am at snail's pace but my SP higher than those with the same Rep.
This is inspiring me to write something like this for my Acehnese Friends though they already knew but do nothing to power up. You are doing good with your SP gain. I did not see you in the redfish power up league. you should be a part of that.
My SP is not that high it needs to be higher to be able to support better. I look forward to that day. You are ding all the right things. keep it up and in time it will work out well

About your sp, you've proggramed on power up frequently, right? My benefit of being mingle with you is not only for the upvote.. I understand if you use your vote preciously, there's so many things I can learn from you which better and true than upvote.
Everything I earn here goes into powering up or the commitments/awards I have with pifc. I also put my money into it as much as I can monthly every month. No matter if its only $50. I do that every month and sometimes twice a month when possible.

Wish that I have more fiat to buy steem... but I must wait for some more time, my hubby and I are planning to run a coffee shop soon and struggling to find sponsorship from our family because I refused to get credit from bank due to my religious believe.

Asapers is one of my favourite discord group related to this platform and I will check out the engagement leagues that you pointed out, they are new to me.
And yes, it is frustrating that some meaningless post has hundreds of $ in payout and some top quality content ones only get few cents.....
as long as people flock to them its hard to discourage. They just don't understand how voting and curation work

It's interesting this whole steemit thing; it's a bit like in real life, those people impressed by nice cars or clothes or a thick wallet. None of it makes a good person.
I find that it shines a light on who they really are.

I hope you have a great week ahead. And I have to admit it can be a bit difficult if we join too many community channels. Most of the times, I'm a discord reader during the weekends, and I love the communities because it's like a class going on there.

Wow you sure are churning out a lot in a hour these days. I can relate to the catch up game. Had a couple of off days myself this week so not steeming as much. One of my main benefits from the platform is a bit of time away from other issues. The focus on other people tends to clear the mind a bit. Will be glad to get back to it.
I have a lot of issues with the formatting myself. My trick is a word processor that uses html. If I can get in once I can cut and paste.
I would never remember everything otherwise.
Those talk shows sound fun. I will have to hunt one down for a listen. Will be a nice switch from my usual You Tube background noise.
I pounded it out and the corrections took it over with the links and such. I was totally surprise with the number count and when I was done was worried that it was to short.

I put the link to their discord in the post. there is the language issue also. I was thinking something along the same lines for question and answers for the pifc discord. The time to hold it makes a difference. People have a lot of question. SBI, dustsweeper and general steemit questions.
I would try to listen if you do a pif show. You are right there is always more to learn about.
