#ULOG 012: Feeling Thankful And Happy For My Baby’s Health Progress...

Good day My fellow Steemians and #Uloggers! I would like to share about my Baby Siti’s health after many people sending their help for her.

On 27th of May 2018, I brought my baby to Caloocan City North Medical Center, we go directly to Emergency Room because there is no regular consultation during Sundays.

They do another blood test, CBC or Complete Blood Count and Platelet Count because if they will based on the previous blood test result, it was too low and might need a blood transfusion.

They took a blood from her thumb finger because not easy for them to get a blood from her tiny veins and she keeps moving, I am really pity of er because the needle of the syringe already inserted in her skin and the nurse keep pushing the needle but still she can’t make it.

We waited for the result in 1 hour, while waiting, the nurse let my baby stay inside the crib or bed for baby in the Emergency Room. It is a public or government hospital but you have to pay for the other fees like laboratory fees.

I brought my baby in a government hospital so I can save a lot, because even I got financial help from Steemit, if I will go to private hospital, it will really be costly and the money I got will surely not be enough because professional or doctor’s fee in private hospital is really costly.

We got the result after an hour and the doctor referred my baby to another hospital, we will show the result to Pediatrician Specialist.

Yesterday, May 28, 2018 we went to Marian Medical Arts at Fairview, Quezon City. I showed the laboratory result and my baby was checked by the doctor and interview me about my baby’s condition.

As per blood test result, the Pediatrician said that there’s an improvement from previous result. She do not have to admit anymore to the hospital and must only need to finished the antibiotic given to her.

The doctor asked me if My baby is taking Iron vitamins before, I told her that I never gave her an Iron vitamins since birth. She said that starting at 4 months, the babies must be given an Iron.

She prescribed Iron vitamins and instructed me to continue it for 3 months because my baby has Iron deficiency which may lead to anemia and that is what we must avoid.

I am still breastfeeding with her and she doesn’t get enough Iron from me as she is full dependent on my breastmilk until now at the age of 11 month.

The doctor also diagnosed her with measles because a red, flat rashes appears on her face and body. She also prescribed a medicine for the itching and skin irritation.

What is Measles?

The Measles is a highly contagious infectious disease caused by the measles virus. It is an airborne disease which spreads easily through the coughs and sneezes of infected people. It may also be spread through contact with saliva or nasal secretions.

I am very thankful because my baby do not need to be admitted in the hospital because it will really be costly, stressful, and mostly pity of my baby in suffering with all the treatments if she’ll be admitted.

Thank you for all those who helped me I will not be able to bring her back and forth to hospitals and do the laboratory tests needed without the financial supports from those people who helps me.

For now, I have to continue giving my baby the prescribed medicines and observed her condition as she still on the 5th day of taking antibiotic, she still have one more week medication.

I would like to thank all the people who help me financially, those who gave upvotes on my post,and to those who pray for my baby.

Please bear with me if it takes time for me to post about my baby’s health condition because these past few days I was really busy sending her back and forth to the hospital all by myself and the other night we arrived at home 9:00 PM. I usually post on Steemit once my baby sleeping because she still can’t walk and most of the time I carry her even at home, otherwise she will cry like there’s no tomorrow... And also because she became more irritable because of her condition.

On my next post, I will post on how I withdrawn the SBD’s donated to me for my baby. I will post tonight because I will be busy today because it will be my first day on the job I applied and I will go for training early morning later in Pedro Gil, Manila.
