ULog #8: Another Blessed Year Added to Me :)
The supposedly spa treat for me by my husband turned out to be a lunch treat for the whole family. Yes, I didn't choose to be pampered this time after going to church, because all I wanted was to spend my special day for my family. We went to a Greek restaurant, our second time here actually, as my daughter and I really love their tacos and gyros. I could always go back to this place because of their scrumptious food they serve at a very affordable price! Globe Gyros is located at Schaumburg, Illinois.
Since it's my special day, I want to thank God for blessing me another year of life. I thank Him for the past thirty-two years full of challenges & strength to get through them; tears & laughter; heartaches & love; sadness & joyfulness; stubbornness & spirit of discernment. With all these life experiences, above all, I thank God for His unending LOVE for me and my whole family despite of failing Him countless times. Nonetheless, as I looked back on my life, He's been there with me all along.. Those experiences have taught me how to get more closer to Him.
I'm grateful for His promise that He will always be faithful of His love for us (Isaiah 30:18). This is the kind of love I want to hold on to forever.
My HOPE is in You, LORD, each day. Thank You for the gift of life.

Wow you are a lucky woman getting such pampered treatments!! I think your hubby realizes how lucky he is, and makes sure to treat you with the upmost luxuries. He sounds like a really good guy!
And what is this about 32 years? I thought you were like 22. No joke! You look fabulous. I'm 32 as well, maybe I should start thinking about getting some spa treatments so I can look 22 again as well!

Thanks for the compliment hehe...but that spa treatment happens only once in a blue moon..like once a year lol seriously... maybe just being happy almost all the time or have always positive mindset what makes one look young 😂🤔
But I think what some people say that if your partner doesn't give you stress or knows how to take care of your relationship will reflect on you is true..my husband is really a good person. Am blessed 😇

I really can't wait to see you. I know that one day it will happen, I just have to be patient and I'll keep on praying about it. Our Auntie Lyd is going to Las Vegas in September. I wish I could come but because of work and studies, I just can't decide on flying to USA just like that. I need time to prepare, making sure that I won't leave a chaotic situation behind.
What did your husband say about the yiros? Did he enjoy it? I told my husband you celebrated your birthday in a Greek restaurant and they also serve tacos there. He couldn't believe it. Haha!

Anyway, hubby just ate chicken... just for the sake he could eat somethin...haha you know how picky he is.. but jhing and i loveed the food... yea they have tacos there because there are a lot of tacos restaurants around so i think people love it here.. however, their ingredients are authentic..
