I really like the ULOG concept, it is the perfect way for people to develop Unique content and often the most mundane of days can seem quite fantastical to someone in an entirely different region of the world.
I would not get too worried about the interaction in comments, at the moment that generally seems to be quite lacking - whether it is the dip in Steem value or summer with more people outdoors then on computers. All you can do is what you are doing at present, being active and keeping yourselves seen -the more people remember your name the better.

We've been paying a little more attention to our "real" work since the Steem is really low and Steemit has been a lot of our income but we gotta keep the bussines running smoothly! You know!
All this lack of activity and currency flow on steemit and here in Venezuela has been something to really worry about... Wait, who cares? We're monkeys right? Banana is life! haha
