Repairing the societal damage of Donald Trump.
I suspect most people reading these words (regardless of political affiliation) are aware that the President of the United States publicly lies on a nearly continuous basis. I have witnessed with my own eyes a societal "lowering of the bar" regarding truth and accuracy, with the excuse "The President gets away with it, why should I be any better?"
I would like to encourage everyone who is disgusted by Mr. Trump's epistemological deficits to not simply aim to "be better than Trump", but to aim towards being the opposite of Trump.
Be scrupulous in your fact checking.
Be scrupulous in conveying full context.
Be scrupulous in monitoring your own bias, and holding everyone (including yourself) to the same standards.
Be scrupulous in your standards of intellectual honesty.
In short: have scruples. Convey the facts as they are, not as you wish them to be. Go out of your way to ascertain reality with full context. Go out of your way to understand and accurately reflect your opponents position.
Hold the high ground.
Be the opposite of Mr. Trump.

Hahah wise words there from you, in truth Trump is someone I didn't know how the got into Power despite his shady life, he's not turned out to be the people's president just like was presumed really and in all honestly not being like Trump is better. Sad he's back to power
