Finally Some Green!! It's a Great Day for Crypto Markets
After this long downtrend we're finally seeing some green markets!! It's really great to finally see some real upside in crypto after what seems like forever with nothing 🙃
But as I said in a previous post, the great thing about STEEM versus every other crypto is that we can all earn more tokens even in a downtrend.
In fact, we can earn even MORE tokens when the price of STEEM goes lower.
So to those who worked hard even though the price was down, cheers to some great profits today!! Those who have earned more tokens are now able to reap some of the benefits.
Additionally, those who have been consistent about posting on STEEM will now see their payouts rise about 30% which is yet another added benefit of being active even in the downtrends.
Last night I watched the STEEM price hit about $1.8 and now it's stabilized right around $1.6 which is phenomenal progress. I'd like to also remind everyone that it's not guaranteed to stay at this price, in fact it's far from guaranteed.
In the long run I know that STEEM will reach great heights (hundreds or even thousands of dollars per STEEM), but that's in view years from now. In the short run I know that STEEM will be volatile (as is the rest of crypto) and one needs to keep a steady eye and heart on the markets.
It's important to keep from getting to emotional, but it's equally important to have a good time and enjoy the uptrends. I urge you to take a moment, right now, to just sit back, take a deep breath and think about the incredible price action that we've had. It may even be a good moment for you to take a little profit from your STEEM investments, but that's entirely your choice.
As for the long-term vision, this small pump really doesn't change much. It may add some additional enthusiasm and faith which are of paramount importance, but it doesn't really change the fundamental technology.
And with that said, the fundamental tech doesn't change in a downtrend either... It's consistently evolving and the Steemit,inc team is working hard to bring us more and more updates to the blockchain and that's exciting stuff!!
