A place where mountain, river and sky comes together
ll Jaflong ll A place of natural beauty. One of the popular tourist spot in Bangladesh. A place where you will get to see Crystal clear water of the river, beautiful green mountain and a big blue sky meet each other.
A little detail
The beautiful river of the place is full of stone. You will get to see laborers are collecting stone under the river and washing them. There are some stone crasher machine nearby. You may not like the loud sound. Mountains are on India boarder. So you have to just enjoy the beauty, no riding or tracking.
How to go
The place is under Sylhet district of Bangladesh. And a remote place. But you can go easily by taking any local transport from Sylhet city. It takes two hours to reach there from the town.
Where to eat
You will find local restaurants nearby where you can get a little refreshments and launch or snacks. There's a popular restaurant for Bangali cuisine named "Megh Mala". You can go there to have a good launch.
Where to stay
There's no place to stay as per I know. You have to stay on Sylhet town or on Jaflong town and have to move from there. It's a one day visit place mainly.
The place is a real gem for me. I have been there twice before and would love to visit again. You can hire a boat to explore the place. You will remember the visit for sure.
