Tree Tuesday
My tree for #treetuesday initiated by @old-guy-photos is a pine tree that grows near the forest in the backyard.
The little tree sprouted up on it’s own and I convinced Hubby to let it grow there. As it grows bigger it will be easier for him to cut the grass around it.
Rabbits and birds can often be seen sitting under the pine🌲.
I like having the evergreen trees, such as fir, spruce and pine, around. They stay green all winter and add a nice colour against the white of snow.

Awe, I remember this beautiful tree! I'm glad it is doing great!!
It has survived and sprung back after being weighed down by snow most winter. Once in awhile, Hubby threatens to cut it down when the branches almost knock him off the lawn mower. He won’t as he really likes it too! 😊
It's amazing what sometimes just pops up. And when given a chance it can grow into something meaingful.

Woot woot, forest IN the backyard? You own a piece of forest?
Yes, it is part of the property - 50 acres total. Hubby has made paths through it and I often go into it for a walk and to find nature to photograph.

Do you know what kind of pine that is? Clearly not a lodgepole. :D
There are two kinds of pine at this end of the Island, Jack and Red Pine. This one is a Red Pine. They seem to be at home amongst the spruce trees.

It may be short, but it is very wide so I would not call it a small tree :) It is so cute now and it will look more and more amazing as it grows. 💚
