Tree Tuesday on the 4th of July
Happy Holiday!
Obviously Happy Fourth if you are in the US! If you are not, I wish you a Happy Tuesday! A Happy Tree Tuesday!!!
So for #treetuesday, my post should have some tree theme. For the Fourth you cant beat a flag. I thought I would combine them for a special celebration this week. (I guess one is allowed to do those things being the host and all LOL)
These are the trees lining my street. The neighbors actually hang the flags on the power line just for the holiday. It livens up the place and looks nice.
Thanks for stopping by!

I like how you took the color out of the one except for the flag. Nice technique. It looks like you had great weather. We had tons of rain. Hope you had a great holiday.
Belated Happy fourth of July!
I admire your Patriotism too.
@cryptopie got you a $0.01 @minnowbooster upgoat, nice! (Image: pixabay.com)

That is a classic American scene. It has a very national scope to it; I get the sense that there are quiet scenes like this thoughout the entire country.
Agreed. I like to think of it as AnySmall Town, USA.
Even though I'm in Michigan!
I have to say as a foreigner living here one think I love here and seldom see anything close in other countries have been to is the the patriotism shown with the flag being seen so much sll over the place it is great to see
Ps I think I have the ability to say this as I have been to 60+ countries
WOW you HAVE been around! Very cool perspective. I have been to Canada and that's about it so I cant say.
Happy holidays and hally 4th jully sorry i am late but i want to greet you. That is good thing that you share tree and falg both as tree for your daily challenge and flag for holiday.
Thanks for stopping by and for the greetings. I upped your comment ;)
Great shots. Did you say they hang the flag on the POWER LINE. It doesn't sound safe.
Indeed that could be a shocking experience. I mean on the power pole!!
These photos are so beautiful! I just love the look of green green trees in the summertime. The glad looks nice next to it :)
Thanks much Jenny!
#treetuseday! There's another one for me to think about! I love how the flag is isolated from the background trees in the first one.
Oh yes, we have fun little challenges for most every day of the week. It really helps when you need inspiration for an idea :)
I like how you incorporated the two together. Beautiful photos. :)
Thank you kindly!
Very nicely done! I'm taking my camera out tomorrow (they promised it's supposed to stop raining) and get some pics! The biggest pecan tree in Ft Smith (2nd biggest tree in the city). Paul McCartney's gravestone and a bunch of others! I want to try my hand at B&W photography!
Yeah that will be cool. I saw where you said you bought some film. I have never shot any. I don't think I have bought film in nearly 40 years! Is it expensive??
It was about $5.00 for a roll. I found a Canon EOS Rebel in a box of junk, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I've done some color shots (with mixed results). Now I want to play with light and shadow.
I wonder is developing reasonable or expensive? Sounds fun.
Pretty high, depending on where you go. I go to a high-end camera shop and it's about $20.00 with a CD.
