Yes, those are ferns and we do have a lot of them.
I heard they propagate by themselves quite well but this is the first time I saw them on a willow tree.

Wow cool! I've never seen ferns doing that before. Here they grow in really moist soil, and in the low, shady places in a forest, so I'm surprised they can do so well there. Interesting, thanks^^
