Sun Thursday: Discovering the Surf Spot - Caparica(ENG/ DE)
Foreword
A place can be described from many perspectives.
Some focus on music and art, some on cafes and restaurants and another on historic stuff.
I want to focus on the element of water today.
Not just the element we drink every day or the main part of which is the human body, but also surf the (Trent-) sport.
Many travel report users focus on specific regions. For now, I will stay with my focus on Portugal until I have gathered all the information about the different possibilities of this beautiful country.
Caparica Surf
Water, waves, wind and sun!
Caparica's beaches offer a surfers pretty consistent and good beachbreak.
Caparica is located south of Lisbon and is very easy to reach by bus, car or ferry. With good traffic it takes from Lisbon center 20-30 minutes there.
Caparica has a long beach, which in turn is divided by so-called moles, so that the beach seems like many small beaches.
The good thing, however, is that this creates magnificent sandbars.
It's a cool spot that's suitable for all levels of surfing.
The best way to surf here is at high tide.
You can also rent a board here on the beach if you don’t have one by yourself, as there are always surf shops near the beach, various bars, cafes or restaurants, which usually have a surf school in the restaurant.
The season is between March to October.
Anyone who wants to surf and comes from the pretty and bustling city of Lisbon will find a place in Caparica that can be reached quickly.

Ein Ort kann aus vielen Perspektiven beschrieben werden.
Manch einer legt das Augenmerk auf Musik und Kunst, manch einer auf Cafés und Restaurants und wiederum ein anderer auf Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Ich möchte mich heute auf das Element „Wasser“ konzentrieren.
Nicht nur das Element was wir täglich trinken oder aus dem der menschliche Körper hauptsächlich besteht, sondern auch auf den (Trent-) Sport surfen.
Viele Reisebericht User konzentrieren sich auf spezielle Regionen. Ich bleibe deshalb vorerst auch bei Portugal bis ich alle Informationen über die verschiedene Möglichkeit zusammengetragen habe.
Caparica Surf
Wasser, Wellen, Wind und Sonne!
Caparicas Strände bieten einem Wellenreiter recht beständige und gute Beachbreak.
Caparica befindet sich südlich von Lissabon und ist sehr gut mit dem Bus, Auto oder einer Fähre zu erreichen. Bei gutem Verkehr ist man von Lissabons Zentrum in 20-30 Minuten dort.
Caparica glänzt mit einen langen Strand, der wiederum von sogenannten Molen unterteilt ist, so dass der Strand wie viele kleine Strände scheint.
Das gute daran ist jedoch, das dadurch grandiose Sandbänke sich bilden.
Es ist ein cooler Spot, der für alle Surf Levels geeignet ist.
Die beste Möglichkeit hier zum Surfen hat man hier bei auflaufender Flut.
Ein Board kann man sich hier am Strand auch mieten, falls man ohne eigenes kommt, da es in Nähe des Strandes immer Surf Shops gibt, diverse Bars, Cafés oder Restaurants, welche meist eine Surf Schule mit im Lokal hat.
Die Season ist zwischen März bis Oktober.
Jeder der sich aus der hübschen und vollen Großstadt Lissabon Surfen möchte, findet in Caparica einen schnell erreichbaren Ort dafür.
