We climbed to the very top of Mount Mtatsminda in the famous Tbilisi funicular. My story today is not about the park and attractions, but about the Funicular Restaurant Complex.

The restaurant complex was built in 1905, but later came to desolation. In 2014, it was updated and reopened. The multi-storey complex consists of three levels, on which four different institutions and a private ballroom are located.

The Chela Restaurant offers traditional Georgian cuisine with an expanded menu.
We found a free table on the restaurant terrace to enjoy the bewitching views of the city and its architecture.

Cafe-confectionery "Puri Guliani" specializes in the preparation of authentic Georgian pastries and sweets. The cafe is famous for delicious donuts with cream. A wide range of pastry shops also includes coffee, Georgian lemonade and homemade ice cream.

The cafe is located on the 1st floor, as you exit the funicular immediately to the left.
