Travel Digest

#1 Climbing 'The Old Man of Coniston' by @slobberchops

After conquering the Yorkshire Three Peaks I was a little crestfallen. It does get addictive climbing these fells but the closest ones to me are within the Lake District which is around 60 miles one way. I wanted more, and bigger ones than last time. Driving all this way is not my idea of fun but this is the only way I was going to satisfy the desire to do more. There are some huge ones in the Lakes including the highest peak in England, Scafell Pike which @bingbabe climbed just a few weeks ago. I'm not ready for that yet and so looked at something a little less demanding. It was 11 am, a little late for setting out on a 77-mile journey and the weather was scorching. I picked out ‘The Old Man of Coniston’ as a mostly random choice

The Portuguese were first on the scene, establishing Elmina Castle in 1482 to swap their goods for the abundant precious metals of West Africa. But other forts would follow, as would other Europeans … and other, less-honorable forms of trade.

#3 Beijing china is one confusing drinking game - DTUBE VIDEO by @vcclothing

I lived in Beijing China for about 4 years all up, and when my friends wanted to visit I was stoked to go back and be their tour guide. We got an airbnb for our stay in Beijing and I showed them around. We visited spots like Wangfujing street, Salitun night club area. Latte is my favorite night club in Beijing.! The forbidden city and Tiananmen square, Houhai lake. The Great Wall of China !! is always an amazing place to visit. I have been 13 times now and never to the same spot of the great wall. We had dinner with my Yunnan friend at a Yunnan restaurant. The food is delicious !! I showed them around Happy Valley theme park where I used to work at doing the skate shows. Always alot of fun!. And what is a trip to China with out seeing a Panda in real life!!
