#1 The bamboo forest hike that keeps going upwards by @livinguktaiwan

Yesterday I went hiking at Tai An Township at Miaoli County. Tai An is the only mountain indegenious township in Miaoli where two thirds of the population are the Atayal indegenious group. The start of my hike was at Xiang Bi suspension bridge.

#2 Bushman Paintings ~ Eland Affects Today Like Yesteryear by @joanstewart

Bushman Paintings most probably painted 130 to 500 years ago (may be even older), clearly indicate the presence of Eland. Described as a blend between a deer and an ox has been used by humans for many years for leather, meat and nutritious milk, domesticated in some areas. Following two photo's taken on a previous visit hiking to caves clearly shows the hunter hunting Eland off the land in the valley.

#3 Die neue Heimat des Tutanchamun // The new home of Tutankhamun by @vieanna

A world sensation was about to happen when the British Egyptologist Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun in November 1922. It was the 62nd tomb found in the Valley of the Kings, which was the ancient Thebes on the western bank of the Nile (Egypt). For over three thousand years, the four underground chambers had served as a home for the mummy of the Egyptian king from the New Kingdom (18th Dynasty). The excavation of the buried burial chambers as well as the collection and conservation of the finds took about ten years. 5,398 objects were recovered, most of which are now exhibited or kept in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
