#1 Siquijor Island - a place of Ghosts, Witches and Sorcerers in the Philippines

Siquijor Island in Philiipines is rumoured to be linked to sorcery and @immarojas decided to check it out himself. He hired a tricycle to get around the island and what he discovered was something totally different. There was a lovely white sandy beach and a 400 year balete tree with a man made pool surrounding its roots. An 1884 church that no longer functions was on the island and to be honest that did look a tad bit spooky. However, overall, taking into account of the multi-tiered waterfalls of natural springs and the lovely beaches, I'd say this is a paradise more than anything else.

#2 My Travels in 2016: Croatia(-Monte Negro-Kosovo-Macedonia-Bulgaria-Serbia-Croatia) - part 6

@careassaktart shares with us his trip in Croatia. Here he finds a nudist beach where he can relax and practice yoga, and play music with the locals. On another trip to Croatia a couple years later , he even ends up gettting a job to perform in a local bar. It was on this occasion where he became the unsung hero of saving the local village from a fire in the nearby forest. His trips to Croatia certainly full of adventures.

#3 Encyclopedias - sand sculpture

It's always fun to read post about the sculptures made by @ammonite. This time he is at Belgium and his work is inspired by his son who's memory seems to be able to process and hold information as quick as the blockchain! In his post, he explains the concept behind the structure and how he crafted this work inside the shopping centre. This isn't a typical travel post, but I think it is worthy to be featured as it shows things from the creator's side instead of the usual traveller.

Thanks for using the Steemitworldmap. It's great to be able to see all your post on a single map.

Today, I had to play the instruction video for the fifth time to find out that I needed to click the almost invisible code button on the bottom of the map. Merry Christmas!

The code is the most important part, just add it to your post and it will get pinned onto the map. Thanks for supporting the Steemitworldmap

Yes, MAKE THE MOST IMPORTANT PART VISIBLE THEN, not grey on grey. Happy New Year!
