#1 Fjadrargljufur - Iceland

Let's start with a walk along a massive canyon in the south of Iceland with @greddyforce. This is the Fjadrargljufur which is 2km long, 100m deep and formed about 9000 years ago in the ice age. Its quite a short walk and only takes an hour return, but I wonder if that includes photo stops as well. I know I'll definitely be spending ages to take photos if I were there. Parts of the route are quite steep and they even have fences to stop people from getting too near to the sides. Daredeveil @greddyforce isn't one to conform, that's why we get to see these awesome photos from him. Great job there!

#2 Ulog 9: Serious Bagging, Day One – Creag Meagaidh in threatening weather

Continue with hiking, this time in Scotoland with @natubat. She's hiking 3 munros along the the Creag Meagaidh Circuit in Scotland (munros are mountains that are higher than 3000ft in Scotland). As she ascends towards the summit, she has to battle with the wind but its well worth it as the view at each of the summit of the munros are fantastic. And then as she approached the third munro, she passed an enormous cairn called Mad Meg's Cairn which marks the grave of a woman who committed suicide in the 18th century. Finally, @natubat rounds off her day back at campsite with wine and chocolate cake for dessert. Love the sound of that!

#3 Travel adventures - Mallorca

Our final featured post is a bit more relaxing as @delishtreats is taking us on as stroll around the medieval city of Valldemossa in Mallorca. This is the highest town in Mallorca and is lined with cobblestone narrow streets and lovely Spanish architecture buildings. She actually arrived the day before the Patron saint festival, a festival held to honour the island's only saint, so the whole town was decorated really nice in preparation for it. What a pity she got there a day early, surely that gives her another reason to go back again.
