#1 Snow Adventures in Bernese Oberland, Switzerland

Our first stop today is Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. @stabilowl takes us on a magical hike from Grütschalp to Mürren up in the mountains. Following the snow-covered path flanked by snow-covered pine trees, she admires the Alps shimmering in the sun and cute mountain towns below in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. She also encounters a frozen waterfall along the way. After reaching her destination she toboggans down to Gimmerwald, a tiny village between Mürren and Stechelberg.

#2 Hong Kong Snapshot: The Western Market

Next, we hop over to Hong Kong where @aaronli shows us the beautiful Western Market—the oldest existing market building in the city. Located in Sai Wan, this English Edwardian style building was constructed in 1906. It is one of the few remaining buildings of this architectural style left in Hong Kong and was declared a historical monument in 1990. Inside are arts, crafts and fabric stores, a restaurant, and a performance stage.

#3 Trekking Mt. Rinjani, Indonesia

Lastly, @best-trip-eva prepares for an epic trek up Mt Rinjani—Indonesia's highest volcano. In this post, she gives us practical advice on when to go and what to take. She advises using an agency, who will provide three meals and 2L of water a day, a sleeping bag, a tent, and transportation to the starting point. Good bargaining skills and written confirmation of inclusions are a must. The optimal tour is two nights/three days, in which time you will enjoy the caldera, the hot springs and the summit.
