Travel Digest #28

Hi. It's @choogirl here bringing you the 28th edition of #traveldigest. I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record but it was tough for us to choose our top posts today because there were so many good entries. Obviously, the ones outside of the top three are listed in the Honourable Mentions so check them all out.

1. Amateur Adventures at Home #9: Magical and Mystical Gardens in the Dandenong Ranges

One of our favourite bloggers @shellyduncan is back with another beautiful post. This time she's at Cloudehille Gardens, in the Dandenong Ranges, just outside Melbourne, Australia. These stunning gardens change on a seasonal basis, meaning there's always something new to see, providing plenty of inspiration for gardeners and nature lovers alike. A seed shop is available onsite for those wanting to grow their own plants.

2. Local Market in Oruro, Bolivia

Another favourite blogger here at #traveldigest is @joythewanderer. Today she takes us around Oruro, Bolivia, where she has an unexpected layover on her journey down to Chile. Rather than waste a day, she explores the town's market, where she fills up up on watermelon and a local delicacy called Inga bean or Guama.

3. Mindanao Travel Blog Post #2: Delta Discovery Park

Lastly, we head to the Delta Discovery Park in Butuan City, in the Philippines with @deeday31. This park is home to the  second-longest zip-line in the country, at approximately 1.3 km in length. There is a 4x4 shuttle service through the jungle to the top of the mountain so you don't have to walk. Once you've zip-lined down, you can cool off in the natural swimming pools surrounded by nature. @deeday31 also provides a guide to the various costs associated with the park.
