The barangay of Bonbon, Butuan City get the hold of having one amazing tourist spot to visit here in Mindanao and that is the famous Delta Discovery Park. Delta Discovery Park is the unification of an esplanade full of speculative feats and a natural elegance of Mother Nature and alongside with it is the thrilled made landscapes. The place is also much known for its title holding as the ‘second-longest zip-line in the Philippines’ and might as well in Asia; the zip line’s total length is about 1.3 km.  

The day we ventured some adventure experiences in Delta Discovery Park was raining , nevertheless, the rain did not stop us, and for that very reason, we did not experience their zip line adventure due to some maintenance concern. Still and all, the good thing about the place is that it has more to offer to everyone other than their zip line adventure.   

  Getting there: 

Hailing from Bancasi Airport you can ride their common way of transportation the ‘multicab’, the public transportation is pin on rolling the passengers to their main center – ‘’Ciudad’’. And then you can tell to the driver that he can dash you off at the Butuan Sports Complex or at the intersection going to Brgy. Bonbon. 

 In our case, we were 15 pax, so we decided to rent a ‘multicab’ for our transportation. On the other hand if you are less than 5pax you can have a much lesser expenses when you stop by the main landmark which is the ‘Kapihan sa Butuan’ and in that place you can have someone to ask about the transportation (tourist Assistant staffs will entertain you); they offer a ride for only P100-150 back and forth via a single motorbike or tricycle.   

  By the time we arrived in their welcoming area, we noticed that the main course of the trip is a little bit far from the reception area. The staffs scout us for our ride into the main course and a 4x4 buggy service served as our  hitch into the peak of the hills. As the ride goes along we observed that the road was a bit brambly and rough; thus and so we didn’t hesitate asking matters in regards to this. Howbeit, the driver answered to us in a very well-mannered way stating that the jarring road was part of the adventure they cater as well as the proprietor aims to keep the place natively untouched as much as possible to preserved true beauty of mother nature and the adrenaline feeling of excitement.   

  For the matter of giving us their best service aside from avowing us to experience their zip line adventure, the management nicely purveys our trip with their natural spring pools. The place where the pools and cottages were located was so placid and free from strife to the extent that you want to spend the night in their very peaceful environment. Even that day was raining the pools were still so ecstatic and immaculate, and you can truly claim that the cool water en route from those refreshing bamboos latching onto the aisle of the pool is free from harmful substances such chlorine. 

  

There were also few cottages for family dining or for a short picnic session neighboring the swimming pools (The fees will be given at the end of the blog). And for the family to enjoy the whole trip, the management relinquished appropriate corner for grilling pork and fish as well as shower rooms and comfort rooms for accessible personal concern.  

  And after a few chit chat, yummy boodle fight, picture taking, and pool games we decided to go back go home. And the whirl fun ride of the 4x4 service transport ends our day with so much liveliness and jubilance in our faces.

• Dormitory (min 5persons): P450/head ( inclusions: free breakfast, free swimming pool fee, free entrance fee)

o 1.3 km: P650/head 

o 400 meters: P350/head

 • Transportation Ride 

o From sports complex (back&forth) minimum of 10 persons: P50/head

 o From sunrise school (back&forth) minimum of 5 persons: P30/head
