#1 Baliem Valley Festival, You Must Visit Once Before You Die.

For our first featured post of the day @gibic takes us to the Baliem Valley Festival in Wamena, Papua, Indonesia. In this part of the world, indigenous people still reside, some still living entirely of the land, hunting with bows and arrows. The only way to access the Baliem Valley is by plane. Several indigenous tribes make their way to the valley, to share their customs and dance with anyone who can reach the area. You get to see all their different costumes, different for each tribe. It's definitely an experience you're not likely to quickly forget!

#2 Spotlight 2018 (Bucharest International Light Festival)

For our second featured post @gabrieltravels takes us to Bucharest, Romania during the time of Spotlight, an international light festival. First up is the Arcul de Trium, one of the most famous structures in Bucharest. The projections for this monument, are telling Romania's story during World War I. For the second spot we go to the National Museum of Natural History, where the projections show the theme of the museum, with a lot of animals being projected. Third is Stirbey Palace, now a restaurant and clubbing area, with a colorful projection on it for the festival. From here on we go the Romanian Atheneum, one of the most important concert halls in Bucharest. Made even more impressive with the almost psychedelic projections on it. In total there are eleven artists being featured during the festival, with their work on unique historical buildings and monuments in the city.

#3 Schilthorn, Switzerland - Up in the clouds for breakfast at Piz Gloria

For our last featured post @izzynoel takes us to Schilthorn, Switzerland. Now famous for the restaurant featured in one of the James Bond Films. The movie producers paid to finish the at the time unfinished construction of the so called Piz Gloria and in return they were allowed to shoot there. The most popular route up starts by cable car to Grutschalp, from which you'll have amazing views over the lush green valley and the many waterfalls. After the cable car you take the train for 15 minutes to the village of Murren, where the snow starts and the outlook over the mountains will leave you amazed. Eventually making it up to the slowly rotating restaurant, the breakfast ended up being some what of a letdown, expensive and fog-obscured, it felt like it might not have been worth it. But it isn't had to imagine how amazing the view must be if there is no fog though!
