Travel Digest

Our first featured post today is from @derangedvisions who takes us to a safari park in Tanzania. His trip starts off with a five hour bumpy ride through lots of villages where he meets some locals. He even manages to do some shopping while he is there and buys a few shukas which are worn by the locals. The next morning he ventures into the Serengeti National Park. As would be expected from a safari park, we get to see giraffes, zebra, lions, ostriches roaming freely around, but its how @derangedvisions captures these amazing creatures that makes this a fascinating post. Around lunch time, his party got a radio call and went over to see a couple of lions who were having a bit of an intimate moment and he captures a few shots of it. Apparently lion sex doesn't last long - you learn something new everyday on Steemit.

In our next featured post we climb a volcano in Chile with @luckyme03200. Villarrica volcano is at Pucon and has had at least 65 eruptions in the last 350 years, and it can be seen from the rooftop terrace of his hostel. The trek starts early in the morning when it is still dark as the volcano is 3000 meters high. You can take a ski elavator to the mid point to save some time and energy, but @luckyme03200 opted to walk the whole way and rightly so, afterall its not a trek that you're going to be doing all the time. Finally, he gets to the top where he is rewarded with stunning views and the smell of rotten eggs. That's because he's standing near to the crater and can actually hear the lava bubbling. Don't forget to check out his drone as well!

Bhangarh near Jaipur in India has a castle which is said to be the most haunted place on earth, and @nameless-berk decided to check it out himself. To make it more exciting, he times his arrival just before sunset when all the other visitors have left for the day. The castle used to have 7 floors but there are only 4 left now, still plenty of wreck to explore if you're into abandoned buildings. @nameless-berk didn't encounter anything spooky that night but the heaven did open up with heavy rain and thunder and lightning which eventually did send him running head over heels back into the village.
