My Holy Week adventures at the beach. VILLA MARINA, Falcón - Venezuela. (+PHOTOS) #1/2
Hello Steemians! I have not been posting lately due to my absence from town. Last week, Venezuelans had some days off work thanks to the celebration of "Holy Week". My friends and I took this as an opportunity to disconnect from the digital world. We made a little road trip to Villa Marina beach at the Paraguaná Peninsula in Falcón, Venezuela.

The trip from Maracaibo to Villa Marina takes approximately 5 hours by car, it's relatively close. It also gave us the privilege to enjoy gorgeous landscapes.

The first of these landscapes is the Maracaibo Lake which took our breath away as soon as we began to cross the General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge. It's one of the most significant symbols of our city.

Singing and laughing took most of our time, and after 4 hours we arrived at Coro city where we enjoyed the landscapes of the Médanos de Coro National Park. There we saw and climbed massive sand dunes, known as Médanos.

Unfortunately, this was an improvised trip, so we had not booked any place to stay. In no time, it got dark and we began to look for a house or inn to rent in Los Taques town and finally, thanks to a gentleman of the town that guided us, we found an inn with rooms available for 11 people, which was good for us. It name is Posada Villa Elvira. It's beatiful, clean, safe and near the beaches.

After settling in our rooms we went to bed to rest. The next day we got up really early to go to the beach. We took the first dip in the cold water of Villa Marina refreshing ourself from the hot sun. The rest of the day was spent chilling and drinking.

As the sun went down we could see them both, the sun and the moon. At the end of the day this breathtaking sunset surprised us.
To finish I will show a little of the follies that we did and the legitimate proof of this Venezuelan saying: "Whoever gets drunk loses"... Lol.
Last but not least, I want to invite you all to visit the beaches of the Paraguana Peninsula in Venezuela. They are wonderfull and relaxing, I’m sure you won’t regreat. Thanks for reading, I hope to see your comments and follow the next chapter of this adventure.
