| Well, the day of departure. If you'd not wake up late, you'd have enought time to explore a small town and do it without haste. | Отже, день виїзду. Якщо не спати надто довго, то у невеликому містечку можна багато чого встигнути, не надто поспішаючи. |
| For example, to have a cup of cappuccino in an old coffee shop with such a sweet staff and a wide choice of sweets that you can lose your mind. And in the pretty courtyard I first saw how the persimmon grows. In winter it's just the season of its ripening, and in Ukraine it is quite expensive, and here it is no one harvest it... | Наприклад, випити капучіно у старовинній кав'ярні із таким милим персоналом і вибором солодощів, що можна втратити здоровий глузд. А у гарненькому дворику я вперше побачила, як росте хурма. Взимку якраз сезон її дозрівання, і у нас вона доволі дорога, а тут її ніхто не зриває... |
| Or, to visit Trullo Sovrano Museum. This is the most modern example and Alberobello's only two-floor Trullo. Built in the early 17th century by the wealthy family of the priest Cataldo Perta. Now it is a small 'living' museum recreating trullo life, with sweet, rounded rooms that include a recreated bakery, bedroom and kitchen. It represents the only trullo to have a raised floor, accessible from the inside through a masonry scale, among the first to be built with mortar. The majestic conical dome, about 14 meters high, stands imposingly in the middle of a group of twelve cones. From December 7, 1996, along with the Trulli of Alberobello , it is in the list of the sites UNESCO - World Heritage Site . | Або відвідати Trullo Sovrano Museum.Це найбільш сучасний приклад, а також єдине в Альберобелло двоповерхове Труло. | And here is the time of departure. We decided to put luggage in the car, and then drive by car to the reception. As I wrote earlier, the hotel consisted of individual trullo located within a small area. | А ось і час виїзду. Ми вирішили покласти валізи в машину, і уже на машині під'їхати до рецепції. Як я раніше писала, готель складався з окремих трулів, розташованих в межах невеличкого району. |
| We left the car nearby at a free parking, which the girl at the reception showed us yesterday. She drawn the circles on the map around that place and our trullo. Besides, my husband with his excellent sense of direction has no problems with maps and routes, but Alberobello once again proved his uniqueness. We turned into one and another alley, circling around, but there was no car anywhere. It was just unbelievable. The district is very small, and we use the map the second day. | Машину ми залишили неподалік на безплатній парковці, яку нам показала дівчинка з рецепції. Це місце і труло, де ми жили, вона обвела на карті кружечками. Мій чоловік завжди добре орієнтується у просторі і на карті, але Альберобелло ще раз довело свою унікальність. Ми звертали то в один, то в інший провулок, кружляли по колу, але машини ніде не було. В це важко було повірити. Райончик зовсім маленький, та і картою ми користуємось уже другий день. |
| Meanwhile, check-out time has gone, and it became clear that we wouldn't find a car without help. We asked a couple of locals, but they also did not quite understand where the magic place marked on the map is. The more we walked, the more streets became similar to each other. Finally, my husband and I parted, and somehow I found a car. It remains to find a husband without losing the car again. | Час виїзду уже пройшов, і очевидно було, що самі ми машину не знайдемо. Попросили допомогу у місцевих, але і вони не дуже розуміли, де те магічне місце, обведене маркером на карті. Чим більше ми ходили, тим більше вулички ставали схожими одна на одну. Нарешті ми з чоловіком розділились, і я таки знайшла машину. Залишилось знайти чоловіка, не загубивши машину вдруге... |
| When we finally met and got into the car, it turned out that on Sunday, the city center is blocked, and there is no opportunity to get into the reception by car. The map wasn't helpfull as in Alberobello there are many pedestrian and one-way streets. Having made 2 or 3 circles and hopelessly missed the time of check-out, we asked the local for a help. All that we learned was that the center is closed. Meanwhile, the rain began. Leaving the car, we walked to the reception to give the keys. Fortunately, we did not get a penalty, and we finally managed to get out of this enchanted town. Or maybe it just didn't want us to leave? | Коли ми нарешті зустрілись і сіли в машину, виявилось, що в неділю центр міста перекритий, і до рецепції під'їхати нема можливості. Карта мало допомагала, оскільки в Альберобелло багато пішохідних і односторонніх вулиць. Зробивши 2 чи 3 кола і безнадійно пропустивши час виселення, ми знову спитали у місцевих. Все, що ми змогли дізнатись, це те, що центр закритий. Тим часом почався дощ. Залишивши машину, ми пішки дійшли до рецепції, щоб віддати ключі. На щастя, з нас не взяли штраф, і ми нарешті змогли вибратись із цього зачарованого містечка. А може воно просто не хотіло, щоб ми так швидко їхали? |
