皆さん、カナリア諸島って聞いたことがありますか？
鳥の名前が思い浮かんだりとか、歴史の教科書になんか載ってたなとかそんな感じでしょうか。わたしはそうでした＾＾

Have you been to the Canary Islands?
These islands are very far from Japan, so not so many people can imagine where the location is... I think some people just remember because we study about Canary in world history class or something.

Estas islas están muy lejos de Japón, por lo que no mucha gente puede imaginar dónde está la ubicación ... Creo que algunas personas simplemente recuerdan porque estudiamos sobre Canarias en la clase de historia mundial o algo así.

カナリア諸島とはアフリカ大陸の西に浮かぶ7つの島で、モロッコから1番近い島だと100kmほどなんだそうです。またスペイン領のためスペイン語が話されています。カナリア諸島は乾燥した温暖な亜熱帯気候で、平均気温は冬が21度前後、夏でも29度前後とそれほど暑くなく、年間を通じて過ごしやすい場所として知られています。ヨーロッパからは直行便があったりして、特にイギリスやドイツからは多くの観光客が訪れるそうです。

The Canary Islands are from seven islands, located west of the African continent, and the closest island is about 100km from Morocco. It belongs to Spain, so public language is Spanish. Because of subtropical climate, the average temperature is comfortable for a whole year, 21 degrees in the wintertime and 29 degrees in the summertime. There are direct flights from Europe, and it seems a lot of tourists visit these islands especially from England and Germany.

Las Islas Canarias son de siete islas, ubicadas al oeste del continente africano, y la isla más cercana está a unos 100 km de Marruecos. Pertenece a España, por lo que el idioma público es el español. Debido al clima subtropical, la temperatura promedio es confortable durante todo un año, 21 grados en invierno y 29 grados en verano. Hay vuelos directos desde Europa, y parece que muchos turistas visitan estas islas, especialmente de Inglaterra y Alemania.

私ももしかしたら一生縁がなかったかも知れないような島々ですが、友人を訪ねて数年前に2回訪れました。その時はまだ会社に勤めていたこともあり、GWとシルバーウィークを利用して出掛けたので、チケットが1番高くて取りにくい時期です。何とか安い往復チケットを手に入れたものの、安い分乗り継ぎも多く、行きも帰りも3回乗り換え、4フライト27時間ほど掛かったこともありました＾＾；　休みにくい仕事をしていたので24時間かけて関空まで戻って、その午後には出勤なんていう日もありました。いま思えばよくやってたもんです。

I wouldn't have been to such far islands from Japan, luckily I had an opportunity to visit there twice to see my friend a few years ago.At that time I was still working for a company, so all I had a chance for a long vacation is in May and September, each only 10 days... not sure you know about this or not, but It is not so easy for Jpns general workes to have a long vacation even 1 week- 10 days. So anyway... I got a long day off twice, but it was a holiday week for all most every people in Jpn means flight ticket is expensive and not so easy to get one.
Although somehow got a cheap round-trip ticket, it was 3 transfer 4 flights, sometimes it took about 27 hours to get there^ ^; 　Since It was difficult to have a day off for me, once I arrived KIX(Kasanai International Airport) early morning and then went working from the afternoon. I can't believe such a situation anymore... hahaha.


No habría estado en islas tan lejanas de Japón, afortunadamente tuve la oportunidad de visitar allí dos veces para ver a mi amigo hace unos años. En ese momento todavía estaba trabajando para una empresa, así que todo lo que tenía la oportunidad de una las largas vacaciones son en mayo y septiembre, cada una solo 10 días ... no estoy seguro de que usted sepa esto o no, pero no es tan fácil para las personas en general de Jpns tener unas vacaciones largas incluso 1 semana, 10 días. Así que de todos modos ... obtuve un largo día libre dos veces, pero fue una semana de vacaciones para la mayoría de las personas en Jpn, lo que significa que el boleto de avión es caro y no es tan fácil conseguirlo.
Aunque de alguna manera obtuve un boleto de ida y vuelta barato, hubo tres veces la transferencia, 4 vuelos, a veces se necesitaron alrededor de 27 horas para llegar ^ ^; Ya que era difícil tener un día libre para mí, una vez que llegué a KIX (Aeropuerto Internacional de Kasanai) a primera hora de la mañana y luego fui a trabajar desde la tarde. No puedo creer más esa situación ... jajaja.

NHK document 72hours「スペイン・カナリア諸島　マグロ漁師の短いバカンス」/"Spain Canary islands a little vacation of tuna fishermen"/"España Islas Canarias unas pequeñas vacaciones de pescadores de atún"

カナリア諸島と言えば去年、NHKの「ドキュメント72時間」の海外スペシャルで、カナリア諸島の「ラス・パルマス島」に日本のマグロ漁船が寄港して燃料や食料の積み込んだり、つかの間の休息を楽しんだりする様子が放送されていました。ご覧になった方もおられたでしょうか？　世界各国から集まるこの港には毎年同じように寄港する船があって、現地の人との付き合いが長くなった乗組員の人がその友人と再会してお互いにカタコトで挨拶したり、寄港する度にお気に入りのお店で一緒に食事したりと、この番組ならではの人々の様子が映し出されていてとても興味深かったです。世界って広いようで狭いんですね＾＾*

Speaking of canary islands, I watched a documentary from NHK at the overseas special of "document 72 hours" last year. It is interesting documentary TV clues stay one place 72 hours to shoot how people spend time at that place. Once it was at car driving school,
another time is at English conversation school in Osaka. I like this documentary very much... and anyway, this time was at "the Las Palmas Island" and it was about Japanese people who spend time at tuna fishing boats a whole year, stopping this island for loading fuel, food and having a brief rest.
At this port, there are many large fishing boats from all over the world, and many of them stop there every year or so. So crew members who have a long relationship with local people reunited with their friends and greets each other and hang out to have drinks and Karaoke. This world seems big but narrow ^ ^ *

Hablando de las Islas Canarias, vi un documental de NHK en el especial de "documento 72 horas" en el extranjero el año pasado. Es un documental interesante que las pistas de TV se quedan en un lugar 72 horas para filmar cómo la gente pasa tiempo en ese lugar. Una vez que estaba en la escuela de manejo de automóviles, otra vez es en la escuela de conversación de inglés en Osaka. Me gusta mucho este documental ... y de todos modos, esta vez fue en "La Isla de Las Palmas" y fue sobre japoneses que pasan un tiempo en los barcos de pesca de atún un año entero, deteniendo esta isla para cargar combustible, comida y tener una breve descanso.
En este puerto, hay muchos barcos pesqueros grandes de todo el mundo, y muchos de ellos se detienen allí cada año más o menos. Así que los miembros de la tripulación que tienen una relación larga con la gente local se reúnen con sus amigos y se saludan y pasan el rato para tomar bebidas y karaoke. スペインへはこの時が初めての訪問でしたけど、高校で少しだけスペイン語を勉強したことがあって、また発音もローマ字読みでシンプルなのでドイツにいるよりも言葉の面では少し気が楽でした。観光地では英語が通じますが、少し田舎町へ行くとほとんどスペイン語しか通じません。まだGoogle翻訳もそれほど優秀ではなかったので、街中で出会った人とは、四苦八苦しながら身振り手振りで話したのが今では懐かしいです。

It was my first visit to Spain, but I have studied Spanish a little bit at high school, and Roman simple pronunciation is also easy for us Japanese. So it was a bit easier for me in Canary more than Germany. Since I could communicate in English at sightseeing spots, but I needed to speak Spanish in a local area where I stayed. Although Google translate wasn't still so good, I spent a great time having communication with people using little Spanish n English n body language ... It was a fun moment.

Fue mi primera visita a España, pero estudié un poco de español en la escuela secundaria, y la pronunciación simple romana también es fácil para nosotros, los japoneses. Entonces fue un poco más fácil para mí en Canarias que en Alemania. Como podía comunicarme en inglés en lugares de interés turístico, pero necesitaba hablar español en un área local donde estuve. A pesar de que el traductor de Google aún no era tan bueno, me lo pasé genial comunicándome con personas que usaban un poco de lenguaje n inglés n español ... Fue un momento divertido.
