Yellowstone National Park - photo impressions USA part 3

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

In 2014 my family and I visited the west coast of the USA, making a four week trip through several national parks with our final destination in Utah.

Here are some photos we took during our 3-days visit in Yellowstone NP:

The colours of water and soil were actually this amazing!

This was one of the first views we had: Vapor from hot springs in the distance.

Sunset in Yellowstone.

We actually saw Bisons on three different occasions.
One time traffic had to stop for a few minutes because Bisons were snugly crossing the road.

Aren't these structures gorgeous?

For some National Park video footage, including footage of an errupting gyser at the end, check out this post:

Looks like an amazing place to visit one day!

Definitly! Only downer were the masses of tourists compared to other National Parks. Probably a good idea to get informed before when the main peak of tourists occure and avoid them.

Yeah, that's mostly the downside of visiting tourist attractions. It's why I try to travel outside of school vacation aswell, to try and avoid the crowd.
