Batmanbiker Travels - Exploring unknown parts of beautiful western ghats with great friends in Images (Part 2)
Hello Steemians! How is it going for you all? Hope you all had a great weekend and looking forward towards a productive week ahead!
This post is a continuation of my previous travel post where I explored the lesser and unknown parts of the beautiful Western Ghats of Karnataka with some great friends!...
What is it that makes me love the Western Ghats so much? I have to say, it is a bit of everything. The nature, the scenery, the feel of the cool wind and the smell of the wet mud... There is so much that can be said, yet not say it all. So less is more. The only way to understand why I love this place so much is to look at it with your own eyes, or through the photos below.
So, without further ado....
One for the road and the scenery...
A quick stop for coffee and ice cream!
The ride never ends when the countryside is so beautiful and tranquil!
We went hiking... This is the first glimpse of the peak...
I am the first one to reach the top! ;)
The view from the top makes the climb worth it!

A temple at the start of the forest trail that leads to the peak. This was our place of rest after the descent.
A small shrine dedicated to worshipping the Cobra. This serpent is the focus of worship during the festival of 'Naga Panchami'.
And then, we were back at the camp with the dogs... The dogs!! <3

And meet Django! Play ball with me, hooman!!
We went hiking with the dogs the next day, to a different peak.

Casper enjoys the morning sun...
Goodbye, Western Ghats... 'til we meet again. It has been a good adventure!
