How's everything? Wish you're enjoying your new year!! Did you remember that last time I introduced my trip to Shanghai? This time I'm gonna share more of my adventure to you, are you ready for it? (MUSIC!!🎶)

4. The Bund and Lujiazui 外灘與陸家嘴

The Bund外灘

The Bund and Lujiazui are on each side of the Huangpu River, mesmerising us with their shimmering lights at night. The tallest building in the photos is the Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower. Next time I'll introduce it to you, and take you up to the tower to see the city beneath your feet!!

富有歷史的外灘與充滿現代氣息的陸家嘴位於黃浦江的兩岸，岸邊建築閃爍著耀眼的光芒。我們佇立於甲板上，左邊是過去，右邊是未來；時代的衝擊，牽引著每一位多愁善感的過路人的心。照片中最高的那棟便是聞名中外的東方明珠廣播電視塔了。我會在下一篇文章帶大家到裏面走走，體會一覽眾山小的感覺。

Interesting Fact: The Bund once housed numerous banks and trading houses from the UK, the US, Italy, Russia, France, Germany, Japan, Belgium and Holland, as well as the consulates of Russia and Britain, a newspaper, the Shanghai Club and the Masonic Club. And, it was called the "The Wall Street of the Far East". How INTERNATIONAL it was!
趣味小知識: 1846年起，許多外國的銀行、總會、報社開始在此雲集。一座座商業大樓拔地而起。從此，外灘成為西方列強在上海的政治、金融及文化中心，還享有「遠東華爾街」的美名。當年各國的領事館，如法國、英國、俄國領事館等都集中與此。

Have you heard of the TV drama "The Bund"? It's a Hong Kong drama television series broadcast on TVB in 1980. 📺It is praised as "The Godfather of the East" and spawned 2 sequels and remakes, as well as a film adaptation. The theme song (also called "The Bund" in Chinese) also became a memorable Cantopop hit which became famous around the globe. Let's listen to this beautiful song again:

5. Yangshan Deep-Water Port 洋山深水港

The Port is one of the largest in the world, allowing berths with depths of up to 17 metres to be built. It can handle today's largest container ships!!! How magnificent it is!

洋山深水港是世界上最大的碼頭之一，它的泊位有17米深，能容納世界上最大的船🚢！多麼的壯觀呀！
