Mumbai: City of Dreams
Greeting's everyone, today as I write this post I feel very proud and privileged to be a citizen of Mumbai, because of lots of things which I feel every Indian citizen should get. Just as I heard in TOI (Time of India) Mumbai ranks in top 15 wealthiest cities around the world. Click

Mumbaikars
Mumbai is the city of dreams for most of the people & its growing rapidly in terms of IT, pharma, finance, transportation, education, media etc. I have lived my last 20 years in this city and still going through the 21st year finally becoming an adult to which I realise I have got responsibilities on my shoulders to which I have to stand on & it doesn't really frighten me because a Mumbaikar is never afraid, there's a famous dialogue which I'd like to share
" Iss shehar kai shensha log mahaalo Mai rehte hai, par is jungle ko chalane ko chalane kai liye jo sher chahiye vo Sadako per rehte hai"
"The kings might live in their huge mansions, but the real tiger who runs this place lives in streets"

Yes! you heard that right, the real tiger's of Mumbai is its people who work day & night to make ends meet. People who live here are adventurous, enthusiastic, cultured, witty, hard-working, passionate about life and easily approachable. The people here love cinema, food, shopping, travelling, studios, a luxury which is not easily available but we leave no mark behind. Mumbaikars are very punctual, particular on time and reliable. A Mumbaikar is never afraid of rejections to be it from a company's CEO or a small auto driver, every day we go through at least 3 rejections to find the correct source, which gives us an important life lesson which no University can teach you. (PS- personal experience)
A life of a Mumbaikar is very fast, time flies in the blink of an eye. People from all over India or even I can say people from outside India do really love to live in this city. Multi diverse, multicultural, multilingual, all sorts of people live in Mumbai which is why it's makes Mumbai so special.
Accommodation
Oh boy! Having your own house in such a huge city is like asking a tiger a share of his food, you know what answer you're gonna get. Real estate prices are skyrocketing in Mumbai, an apartment of 1Bhk starts from 50-60 Lakhs to some places goes to 1 crore as the number of flats increases the price rises to start from 1 crore - 4 crore. If you own property in Mumbai trust me you're the richest man on earth because even rent here is expensive these days. From my personal experience I'd say "My dad was not a Mumbaikar, he came to Mumbai with only 300₹ in his pocket he lived in a very small place which people call 'jhopda' (a small place in slums of Mumbai) he struggled a lot in his 40 years and today as I sit on my fluffy bed I realise his love and affection towards me. My old man is my spirit.

Food
Every Mumbaikar has a special taste for "Vada pav" it's like an Indian burger. Mashed potatoes with bread kind of makes it likes a burger & the Indian chutney add more flavour to it. You can't take spice away from a Mumbaikar it will drive them crazy. Along with this due to a lot of diversity in this place, the best and most important part of breakfast would be "Poha" (small loaves of bread with some ginger, lemon & a dash of basil leaves). These both items are widely available all over for a price of 15 rs. In fact, most people have it in their breakfast. Trust me if there's a rise in the price of 'vada pav' we would really feel that inflation is taking place in the market. A cutting chai with vada pav is like a cherry on top
"Pav Bhaji" is famous all over India but the biggest Pav bhaji centre is in Mumbai. As a matter of fact, if you want to eat Pav bhaji at 7 am in the morning you can get it opposite CST station for just 1.20$. But if you would like to have cheese Pav bhaji you can visit Achija hotel, Ghatkopar East.
"Snacks"
Pani Puri, just by mentioning the name my stomach has started giving me signals to go in my kitchen and have some. So for those of you who don't know what Pani Puri is can check here
With this also goes "Sev Puri" which has many different textures and a tangy taste but its every Puri is tasty.
Note:- Sev Puri is also called papdi chat but it's over North India.
Samosa & Bhajiya's are also enjoyed with two hands by Mumbaikars.
Well, that's all from my side for today, but hang on I'm not finished yet, I'll share more stories, so if you like reading my stories upvote, comment down about your city, resteem (optional) follow me for more amazing stories.

what a fabulous saying "The kings might live in their huge mansions, but the real tiger who runs this place lives in streets"
Never heard of it before, but so true, those who arn't connected with the place don't really know what happens or know the hidden treasures in the street.
Oh yes, it's a famous dialogue which I used from a Bollywood movie :)
Indeed the people who live on the streets are true tigers who run the city.
